Date Reviewed: August 5, 2003
Favorite Trail:The Wood Lot network in Maple Ridge
Duration Product Used:3 months
Strengths:Its a Kick ass west coast built bike! ITs tough and light. (mine weights in at 39 lbs.) The Devo handles 5-6ft drops with ease, and kicks ass on the fast single track and dirt jumping.
Weaknesses:The new Hayes brakes have a tacky friction fit plug where you bleed them from by the lever, it popped off and puked oil everywhere. I lost the plug and my front brake for the entire day. That sucked.
Bike Setup:Rock Shox Boxxer Race, Fox Vanilla RC, Hayes Brakes, XT components, single track rims, Maxxis rubber.
Bottom Line:This bike is bomb proof. Its great to see a relatively small BC company pumping out such rock solid bikes. Go get yourself one.

Date Reviewed: June 9, 2001
Favorite Trail:dirty little secret and Banff
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $2000.00
Purchased At:Brodie Devo
Strengths:This bike kicks some serious ass, it's a great flatlander free stylin and downhill bike.
this was my second bike and the only one that could hold up to jumps and ramps over 5"!
Weaknesses:The only weaknesses were the climbing capabilities with it being 200 pounds that weighs you down going up steep hills the other weakness is it's stock componet cranckset I upgradeed to higher quality set for better pedaling but the rest is all original and runing like a dream
Similar Products Used:The brodie products are quite unique in an awesome way in that they have extremly sturdy and surprisingly loght and tough frames the only others wold be from Kona
Bike Setup:all original setup w/ new shimano deore xt over shifters and new shimano pro crankset
Bottom Line:the bottom line is that this kick ass bike can hold its own plus some but when your ready for a serious downhill and freestyle bike come and look the devo up
