Strengths: Light weight for the cost! No bio-pacing. A nice blend of materials; aluminum front triangle, steel rear triangle with slender and very stiff Breeze-ins drop-outs. Great looks. Good on the back, especially when tired. One of the best climbing bikes of all times. Responsive and bunny hops well. Almost handles as well as the venerable Lightning bikes!Weaknesses: Early model so SID SL fork and Fox Shock dont have lock outs and the SID SL 80 fork is a little flexy on really hard carving single tracks or rocks, but that is not Breezer's fault and a newer fork and shock will fix that. I wish the head angle was 1/2* steeper so i could upgrade to a modern 100mm fork, but i will just have to limit the travel to 80 or 90, that's ok for XC riding anyway. And the front derailure is getting wiggly and losing its spring to down shift, but that is a low cost fix.Bottom Line:
Get it if you see one for sale, they are rare, will become more collectible, and the Sweet Spot design is really a great cross country bike! Simple and effective!

Bike Setup: LX,XT,Ritchey,Seguno, Fox 5 shock and SID SL form. It is about 24 and change pounds! Lighter wheels would save an easy 1 to 1.5 pounds of critical rotating mass.

Strengths:
Light, few moving parts, good travel, no biopacing, KILLER GOOD LOOKS!Weaknesses:
Rumor is they are not making this bike anymore!Bottom Line: I was a di- hard hardtail rider and was leary of FS. After doing a lot of research and trying a few bikes, I decided on the sweetspot design. SInce I owned Breezer hard tails, I decided that I would go with that make (besides, have you see how BEAUTIFUL this bike is??). Bottom line is that on the first ride out it climbed BETTER than my HT, descended like BUTTER, and followed the technical sections like it was telepathic. There is a tough technical section on this trail that I almost always have to dab or unclip, but this bike went up it like a billy goat. Did I mention that it is also 2 lbs lighter than my HT? (25 lbs.!)
