$650.00 | | Purchased At: | Staten Island Bike Shop | | Strengths: | Great looking frame and geometry! Shimano STX SE are still working, just needs new cables! Rims are still Good! | | Weaknesses: | Brakes suck and squeak. No front shock - I added a Dirt Research Ballistic Shock (Yeah it's older than dirt) - Neck and handlebar is too long and heavy | | Similar Products Used: | Now riding between this and Giant Rainer SE | | Bike Setup: | Marin Neck and Handlebar, Ballistic front shock, Tomac grips, Team end bars, new teflon cables, specialized seat. | | Bottom Line: | Great bike, too bad the company went out of business, they really made some beautiful frames! I bought the bike in 1997, and it still looks good today with the new stuff! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
