from Australia Date Reviewed: September 27, 1998 | | Bottom Line: | A well balanced package for the money. It is specced out well with LX and XT and is quite affordable. It is very light, mine is about 23.5 lbs after changing the headstem, handlebars, tyres and tubes. I've raced it and think in the right hands it would do quite well. Mine has been thrashed senseless and the frame seems to be unbreakable. I've been through a few Mavic 217s and although they are light, I'm not a huge fan. Get some Rithcheys or Sun Ryino lites. If you've got the money I would go for the Competitor instead. | Overall Rating: |
