Strengths: Coming from an XtC DS1 custom build with a '99 SID this fork rocks. Much stiffer and much more there to tune to my liking. A great fork and better yet I found a deal on it.
Weaknesses: Rebound cap rattles, but if you grab it it easily comes off. The cap is actually an allen adjuster to fit up into the fork. Just pop it off and keep it in your tool kit.
Bottom Line:
This fork is a great piece and is light-years ahead of that old '99 SID I had been riding on my DS1. The range of adjustment is superb. And the Poplock works well too. I also liked the split race for my FSA headset so it was a breeze to set up the fork. Also, measure 10x and cut once for the steerer tube, lol. I did it myself easily with masking tape and a fine-tooth hacksaw, along with sandpaper to deburr. Take your time!
Bike Setup: Fresh build on a new '05 NRS C1 frame. XTR, Race Face, Profile, Titec, Mavic, King, Formula, etc. 24.40 lbs as ridden; not stripped to weigh in!
quite light (1600grams without pop lock) not 1535g!and strong. i use v brakes and have them set very close to the rim , when i put the power downa nd corner too..the brakes do not rub on the rims. so very strong and low flex .
i have the black one . looks quite nice. although im not keen on the red reba sticker. ( might be painted on? ...seems stuck on there)
Weaknesses: only one weakness that i've found so far...the pop lock rattles ...and so does the rebound nob. there should be a rubber washer in between the compression nob on the pop lock. haven't had time to see if i can do this myself ...well i could always push some blu tack inside if i cant dimantle :(.. but really i think this should have been sorted at the factory...i just cant stand rattles on my bike. not when i pay so much.
Bottom Line:
great fork, i feel very safe using it. nice little pop lock to adjust as i fly along (slight rattle on it though) quite light. i was considering a pace c type.. lighter than the reba...at this time there are very few reviews..if your after a fork see if there are any reviews on the c type. it seems pretty hot..
anyway. .the reason i chose the reba was because it does not flex like the sid. I'm a bit of a weight weenie , it was a tough choice but i'm very happy with it. ...so far.
this fork came on the bike. otherwise, i would not have bought it. white bros have been my favorite fork for years. however, knowing what i know now, i would buy this fork at any price. it beats anything i have ever tried by far. i don't see how it could get any better than this. buy it and ride it. i am sure you will agree. i have paid more and got less. it is worth what ever you have to pay to get it.
Strengths: I bought this to replace my Fox 100x. I wanted a quality fork with a remote lock out. After owning a SID years ago I was reluctant to buy another product from Rock Shox. Well, I was wrong, this fork is great! It works great on the technical stuff and I love the lockout!

Strengths: Love that remote lockout option, smooth ride, hard to bottom out when riding XC
Weaknesses: Only one colour, high MSRP if purchased at full price.
Bottom Line:
If you can swallow the high retail on these, or even better, pick some up whilst discounted, they are really as good as Rockshox claim. Quite light, user friendly, and provide a plush ride. I do mostly XC with the odd downhill blast, and the very occasional urban hoon. These forks are really versatile as with a little adjustment they can handle any of this. I was a bit concerned about the carbon crown (see damage caused on installation in some other reviews), but with a bit of care (and patience), no problems. Remote lockout is fantastic, only the fly lockout with the flick of a switch. The only criticism, if I was to make one, and if you could call it that, is that they are only offered in the one color combination. If you can get them, you wont be disappointed.

Strengths: Had enough of my RC36 Stealth carbon even though they had only had 12mths use and upon fitting them took the bike to Afan and ragged it within an inch of its life and they were awesome! really responsive, travel and compression set up good, very smooth and the pop lock is well designed. Totally changed the look of the bike and was pleased to discover when they arrived that they weren't just white but pearlescent.
Weaknesses: The pop lock shifter and cable after a day in Wales stuck and needed a little attention.
Bottom Line:
It doesn't get better for aggressive XC riding, bike porn!

Strengths: This fork is head and shoulders better than the atom bomb 80 that it replaced. The fork is probably lighter, but the action is very nice with more progressiveness at the end of the stroke. This is something that I never had with the zokes. The adjustments that affect compression and rebound work very well, as does the compression lock out. I really like the color with my bike, kind of lucky that the white matches the decals almost perfectly. The fork feels as stiff or stiffer than my old Marzocchi and the bike handles on the downs better. Five stars
Weaknesses: Rock shox old reputation, but since the SRAM buyout, I am hoping for the best. Carbon crown suffered a little nick on installation, my bad. The travel is only adjustable internally. One color is limiting.
Bottom Line:
This is the best XC fork on the market as far as I am concerned. It does it all with aplomb. As long as the durability is there, I will continue to recommend it to everyone.
Strengths: Plush out of the box. Actual weight = claimed weight. Stiff.
Weaknesses: Only available in white?!
Bottom Line:
After a couple of years riding the SID World Cup on my Truth I decided to go for something a little stiffer and with a bit more travel. The Reba World Cup was plush out of the box and tracks really well. I've almost come around to the colour and graphics.
I don't know if it's worth the extra over the other Reba models as it's a fair bit more expensive, but not a lot lighter - but the carbon crown is fairly funky!
Too early to tell about reliability, but if it's as good as my SID I'll be happy...
My god this fork rules cant get anything better then this. This kill the sid world cup more stiff and light weight Rock shox has improved so much the last 2 years. I rate this fork 10/10 for stiff, light and performance excellent
