from arlington, va, usa Date Reviewed: July 22, 2008 Strengths: very plush, coming from a '96 judy xc I mean the confidence I now have riding over stuff is unparalled. Weaknesses: ETA, honestly, if you live in mid atlantic where we have hills and not long climbs you just wont use it. It doesn't make sense to use this feature unless you are in a sustained climb. The fork is really heavy, I'm guessing just by holding it it weights a solid 7 pounds. Trying to overhaul it is damn near impossible. The manual is no help and it says fork maintenance should be performed every 6 months. from Las Vegas Date Reviewed: March 24, 2008 Strengths: I love this fork. The ETA feature is amazing. You can climb so much better with this feature. I put this fork on my Kona Blast hard tail. I couldn't believe the difference. Instead of a lock-out you can use the ETA feature which lowers the fork and the front end of the bike. My climbing game improved 25% overnight with this fork. Weaknesses: Took a little time and money at the bike shop to dial it in. The bike shop didn't like that I purchased it online..even though it was 100 below his cost. It handled my weekend at mammoth. never took it off anything over 3 feet, but it did well. there seems to be some flex in the fork, but havn't had any issues due to it. It could by my new rims that are flexing.
