Strengths:    Stiff feel, not too heavy, looks good...if that matters

Weaknesses:    no adjustments, springs feel kinda weak for my weight (200 lbs) but swapping those out doesn't sound difficult.

Bottom Line:
I bought the forks new. I'm pretty happy with them. They treat me well doing downhill and up to 10' drops. I've bottomed out a handfull of times, but that could've been sloppy riding. For 300.00 bucks they are at least a good platform to improve on.

Strengths:    everything!!! smells good, looks good, 8 inches of travel. its a Marzocchi!!!!

Weaknesses:    none so far

Bottom Line:
Ive had the fork on now for about 3 months and i have no complaints. Marzocchi does a great job with their forks. Its not an rc or fox 40 but i think it does the job for a fork under $1000. it hasn't given me any trouble and once i messed with the oil and compression/rebound settings the fork works just the way i like it.

Strengths:    Much more stiff than single crown, seem very well sealed, look great, work for 200mm disc brakes

Weaknesses:    Turning circle compromised (but who cares?), slightly heaftier than previous forks, no external adjustment

Bottom Line:
Marzocchi are THE brand for skint riders, not new but secondhand. Find some forks on Ebay and if they are in good condition bid on them as they are reliable and well sealed and unlike Italy's cars, won't break down. The forks are the taming force i needed for my Hayes HFX Hd brakes so are very strong and were a bargain
