Strengths:
supposed to be reliable, looks nice, beefy, coil & air combo helps with fine tuning.
Weaknesses:
Heavy, a bit sticky, needs air or is too soft for me at 175lbs. No external adjustments except air pressure (no rebound adjustments)

I bought this fork as a temporary replacement for my blown Nixon. The nixon works better, until it doesn't work at all. This fork has held up fine in the short time I've used it. It seems heavier when lofting the front wheel, but downhill I don't notice it. The travel is not a smooth as the Nixon over smaller stuff (a bit sticky), on big stuff it is fine. I needed to add ~50psi of air to each leg in order to be stiff enough for me. I'll put the Nixon back on and keep this as a backup. It's worlds better than the splice that came on my bike. I'd love it if I hadn't tried the Nixon Platinum already. One of these days I'll ride a Fox so I can know what everyone is talking about! Also, I don't know what this costs new, so my value rating is based on used cost. I bought it with a lot of parts so I am estimating the cost I paid for this, but I think if you find it for under $150 used it's a good value.

EVERYTHING, very little travel for a free ride fork, for some reason it's sticky, pain in the a*s to ajust, been in repair shop over 9 times, i dont know why i even bother with them, also extremly uncomfertable when doing downhill.

hard to get in the butter zone, any tips for getting the adjustment right?, i cant , either its to stiff, or to soft and bottoms out quiclky, not to plush for me, i need help adjusting the fork, help, i cant get it right, and some one said there is compression, were? all i see is rebound, air in both legs, thats all!

works amazingly for freeride, it can do some downhill, but I wouldn't recommend it. very soft, takes ups drops like its nothing, and eats up about anything.
Weaknesses:
Kind of rough, not always responsive, it also has its drawbacks with the setup just because it is really not that user friendly.

Decent adjustment.20mm axel feels solid.Feels lighter than I thought it would.Old MX racers like springs in forks so that's another plus.Crown seems beefy and strong.Brake mount looks real strong too.It has a cable bracket.
Weaknesses:
Owners manual is worthless to a mechanic but MRZCI said to call.I think it is for lighter people.At the price you can get one for there aint much wrong with the MF'er.

This is a great fork for getting a feel for FR and pushing your limits.If you are over 165lbs.it is possibly not stiff enough.I'm 150lbs. and running with 0 preload until it's broke in.It takes longer when your light.I've been going down stairs.It feels fine riding uphill.The 20mm axel gives confidence to go for the drop or whatever you feel you can handle.So far I'm happy with it.This is the Drop Off 2 130mm travel.There seems to be enough of them around but don't pay over 250.00 for it.So get one and nuke the gay whales and buy your chick an Ermine fur.

Strong structuraly, stiff, not too bad weight wise, very plush, External Rebound control, Good price for a 6" single crown.
Weaknesses:
erm............. Yet too see if the 2006 damping cartridges last as well as the traditional SSV. Not as small bump plush as my old SSV All Mountan 3s either.

breaks easily i've had it 3 month its been in the repair shop twice for blown out oil chambers. Broke it off an eleven foot drop and flying down northstar. the fork is terrible and uncomfortable on bumpy terrain especially while going fast.
