Strengths:    Good forks, point and shoot handling. They don't fight you over bumps and just let you get on with it. If anything they make smaller bumps so easy that you'd have more fun on a shorter travel fork. I was amazed when i rode at a 16 set of stairs and made it to the top without pedalling.

Weaknesses:    not easily adjustable which doesn't matter as they seem to have been designed for the average 14 stone 25 year old. If you're a feather weight kid they might be a little stiff so all I can say is eat more.

Bottom Line:
Good forks. If your 14 stone plus and you see some second hand then go for it. Mine are 5 years old and fine. If you're less than 14 stone I can't comment as I'm not. They might be perfect they might not.

Strengths:    stiff with 20mm axle, long lasting no maintenance, pedictable, stays strong so far.

Weaknesses:    not much for rebound damping. cheaper fork and you know it. clicks a lil', sqwishy sound a lil'

Bottom Line:
this "cheapo" version z1 w/no adjustment just keeps working and i'm not bummed on it. super pogo stick out of the box. read some reviews then took a spring out of one side, adjusted air preload to 5/6 or so lbs on one side, zero on the other and have'nt touched it since, i think. can't remember. does'nt matter though, dats da kine i like. set it, forget it. i weigh about 170lbs and normally dont hold back. this fork works gr8 everytime.have only bottomout its 130mm couple times landing flat over some gap jumps, but hardly ever. sick buy for the price.

Strengths:    Solid and very light. good for decent sized drops and jumps.

Weaknesses:    can bottom out easily. need a pump to adjust it. no rebound adjustment

Bottom Line:
Very solid fork but hard to adjust on the fly. better forks out there but not really for the price. there its really and sag so its hard for downhill but very good fork

Strengths:    Plush, reliable, good looking, mine came with ETA

Weaknesses:    Not stiff enough and are small compared to my Scott so am buying some 888's with identical damping (SSV)

Bottom Line:
Got some for sale email Mohammedthelostprophet@hotmail.co.uk if you are interested offers. These are good

Strengths:    Everything. It feels super plush on the drops and smoothes out rough landings. I hit some big drops with it (10 footers) and it feels great. Its lack of adjustablility is ok, because its already set up perfectly for 99% of riders out there.

Weaknesses:    I can't think of any. I guess the only problem i have with it is there are small air bubbles under the stickers.

Bottom Line:
The best long travel freeride fork under the sun. I have done some big stuff with it and it still feels brand new. Buy one, you WON'T be dissapointed!

Strengths:    looks nice, 150 mm of travel, air preload adjust. Good internals. Very plush. Great for dirt jumping and freeride.

Weaknesses:    MINE BROKE! The disc brake mounts snapped right off!!! Seems a little flexy too.

Bottom Line:
Today, my Z1 Fr 3 snapped at the mounts. I'm really annoyed right now, because I've had the fork for about 6 months, but I've only been riding it for 3! It shouldn't have broken so easily! I didn't crash or anything. I wasn't extra hard on this fork - I didn't even dirt jump!

Strengths:    Price. Out of the box feel. 6in Thru axle. Lack of adjustment meaningless cause this fork feels good as is with my set up.

Weaknesses:    Stickers.

Bottom Line:
I weigh 220 add 15lbs for the pack, so 235 on the bike and the fork feels great. This is my first Zocchi. I haven't made any changes to it not that there is much you can adjust.

I had a Fox Vanilla R130 before with the stiffest spring. Lots of brake dive with that fork. Stand up an pound boing boing. The Zocchi doesn't have that. Plush enough for me, nothing plusher than Fox, but firm enough so brake dive and bounce isn't a problem.

I didn't think 1 inch in travel would make such a difference but I go thru and over alot more stuff readily.

Does take a couple of good rides to break in. I've taking this fork over drops and thru rock gardens, big roots. No bottoming out and this is with no air added. This is a good barebone fork for an incredible price. Its like it was built just for me, no adjustment required.

Strengths:    Nice. It's all black. 150 mm of travel. Better internals than many forks. 20 mm axle. Softens the ride up a lot.

Weaknesses:    Mine seems flexy. Not very adjustable.

Bottom Line:
Very nice fork for the price. It makes drops very easy on a hardtail, like going off of curbs. Much better than my old MZ-comp. I havent bottomed it yet! the most I've had out of it's 150 mm of travel is about 140(on a 6 foot drop, and I nose dived)! Great fork. Best freeride fork at this price range.

Strengths:    Buttery smooth, Air preload, I weigh 230 and have yet to bottom it out, stiff, 20mm thru-axle. 6" single crown for less than 300 with the Zoke name to back it up!!

Weaknesses:    Damn Jenson has the 66 for $299 only a few months after I get the Z1. Spring makes an annoying "scruntch" sound when compressing.

Bottom Line:
Want a minimalists (no bells and whistles like ETA) fork for light to moderate freeride...aka u can't afford a 66 or Fox 36...this is the fork for you. IMHO a better fork and better value than the Manitou Sherman lineup.

Strengths:    Strong, stiff, looks good, affordable, air preload makes all the difference.

Weaknesses:    none really.

Bottom Line:
This bike came with a 110mm travel fork originally then I put the 150mm travel Z1 on the bike. I was afraid that the fork would be a little big for the frame (medium), but the fork actually fits the bike pretty good. All of this talk about the ideal DJ/urban fork being 100mm is a load of sh!t. The Z1 has been perfect for DJ/urban riding and with the extra travel you can even do some nice drops! If you want to put the pedal to the metal, the fork doesn't bounce up and down because of the air preload. Basically a fork even at this length is still a good dj fork.

Strengths:    got mine for under $300 ...thanx jenson
solid feel and very plush
air preload is simple and easy to use

Weaknesses:    no external rebound adjustment and unless you weigh over 250 pounds the stock springs are too stiff

Bottom Line:
a damn good fork! if you wanna change to a 20mm front hub or replace your old worn out fork this is your answer. if i had the money i would get another!

if the springs are too stiff, simply remove one. that's what marzocchi told me to do. left or right... it dosn't matter. to slow the rebound change the fork oil to a higher weight.

There is only one word for this fork: plush. The lack of adjustment is irrelavent because the fork is set up perfectly already. This is one of the best forks on the market for the money.

Strengths:    This fork has great characteristics out of the box. Becomes superplush in about 3 or 4 aggresive rides

Weaknesses:    no adjustability, preload is sort of useless because it makes the shock too stiff (I run no preload)

Bottom Line:
Buy this fork, great deals on this fork on the web. takes 6 footers all day without bottoming. Very plush sucks up small and large hits very well.
