Strengths:    Ok for the price and can handle some rough stuff.

Weaknesses:    If you are hitting drops or jumps or doing downhill then go ahead and spend the extra money on better forks. The seals brake easy and you have to replace them often, also there are no adjustments and rebound is way to fast.

Bottom Line:
spend a bit more money and get a better fork.

Strengths:    lightweight, sleek design, no air leaks. doesn't cost a fortune..

Weaknesses:    lacks adjustments

Bottom Line:
it took a lot of abuse, (got it 2nd hand) took it for a DH run.. we both survived.. works well in ruts and rock gardens.. good for XC riders who wants a little bit of DH sometimes.

Strengths:    - Able to take large drops (6 foot)
- I didn't find it heavy
- Great for riding street (if your into that)

Weaknesses:    I didn't find any

Bottom Line:
This fork is awesome for the things I said in the Strengths but I didn't test it on Downhill but it would have been good to. Buy this fork! It is awesome!

Strengths:    Not so pricey... but performs as intended. Be sure to follow Zoke's air pressure recommendation. We'll it also resist my abuse... and begs for more.

Weaknesses:    None so far...

Bottom Line:
This fork gives me satisfaction. Its a XC fork but sometimes i'll abuse it (due to my riding nature). Had dropped it from a 5ft drop to tranny and a 5ft big air on my SS speed Dj rig (its about to be replaced w/ a DJ3)... it seems to withstand such beating. Love the fork when doing technical downhill (rock gardens and rain rots) on XC trails.

Weaknesses:    LACK OF ADJUSTABILITY

This fork not only performes well, but also looks good. After numerous endows and a few trees it still stands tall.

Weaknesses:    not enought adjustments

Bottom Line:

Strengths:    Needs next to no maintenence,
Simple to adjust,
IS disc mount,
The colour of the Marin OEM version matches my frame perfectly

Weaknesses:    Heavy compared to some of the competition

Bottom Line:
This is one of the few components I haven't yet swapped on my bike. It isn't very flashy compared to some of the newer, more expensive forks on the market - but it does the job and the travel and colour match my frame perfectly.

Strengths:    Laterally stiff, lightweight, Marzocchi quality

Weaknesses:    Only 120mm travel, instead of 150+

Bottom Line:
I've had two bikes with this fork, and absolutely loved it. The only reason I upgraded one of them to the Z-150 FR SL was for the additional travel. Now you can get 170mm travel from single-crown forks... Time to upgrade again maybe?

I never had ANY trouble whatsoever out of either fork...
They're dirt cheap compared to FOX & other's that probably aren't much if any better than this one. It just the stickers on them.
