Strengths: cheap buy off ebay, plush, way stiffer than my old Judy
Weaknesses: noisy....has the squishy sucky sound...not the end of the world though...bobs on climbs
Bottom Line:
got this fork off ebay for a steal, couldnt be happier with it.... absolutely great fork for XC and free ride.... i am a big guy (6'3" 260#) and i cant get it to bottom mout with only 40# of preload.... plush as ever, and soaks up rooots and stuter bumps with ease, way better than my Judy TT could ever have dreamed of...(thats not hard though...LOL)
seems to be a great pair for my trek fuel frame too... climbs good, has a bit of bob though, which can get annoying, im sure if i aired it up more it would bob less but i like a plush fork....

Strengths: surprisingly tough
smooth action
stiff, the way I like it
Weaknesses: lack of adjustment
not much progression and sensitivity
Bottom Line:
I got it used from my friend, who has been abusing it for a few months. Yeah, its no 66, but it is very much to my liking. My friend set it up very stiff, and I was concerned at first that it might tear my wrists off, but when I pushed it, there was a surprisingly plush action, especially in fast stutter bumps and rock strewn trails. FR is a breeze, the fork soaking up landings wery well. Once my favorite stair gap is opened again I'm going to hit it.
A drawback is the lack of sheer sensitivity, and the lack of adjustment, but I grew to like the stiffness and heck, its a OE fork.
Yeah its cheap, but bang for the buck, its second to none.

Strengths: very plush and soft, just how i like it for dj and freeride. metal parts, very sturdy.
Weaknesses: a little noisy, and comes soft. i had to get it stiffened once.
Bottom Line:
I reccomend this fork for freeride and djing. okay for a little downhilling, but no huge stuff. its definitely worth buying if you're into freeride, but i dont recommend it for huge dj's, downhilling, and xc.

Strengths: Stiff crown, plush travel, darth vader looks, high speed performance
Weaknesses: noisy, squishslap on quick small bumps
Bottom Line:
SWEET, Tracks like a pizza cutter through rock gardens, light enough to ride all day everywhere. Makes all my freeride dreams come true. Perfect if you are a weekend warrior with some interest in freeride and downhill but you only can afford one bike.

Strengths: Quick, 150mm traveler, solid made
Weaknesses: non-20mm drop-outs (standard 10mm drop-out), it has ~10mm dead travel, to loud, lack of adjustments
Bottom Line:
Don't expect too much, good fork for start, really bad for serious ride. I'm hoping to change it soon for 66, or Pike, the best thing only is 150 of traveler, besides that nothing... it reacts quick but sometimes it's to easy to bottom, especially on higher jumps or bigger rocks on high speed. As I sad, ok fork for start, but think of replacing it in one year.

Strengths: Great looks and good feel, does great on minor FR trails and decent sized urban drops.
Weaknesses: Lack of adjustability
Bottom Line:
I bought it with the low end Specialized Big Hit just to ride light FR, DJ, and urban assault. So far it has held up great, good plush feel on the dirt, but doesn't soak up much pedal and pumping power. I have also taken some pretty aggressive climbs, so not too ridiculous for and XC/FR hybrid rider. For what I wanted out of it, a great fork!

hi again!i descover a thing...marzocchi is imposible to loose air, cause they use big tubes of air and u dont need to put a lot of air(and u cant, cause u make it fix fork)marzocchi use low pression of air,so is IMPOSIBLE 2 loose air...so mister ANTIDROPOFF u are a big liar!!!!!!!
i buyed this fork from a friend with 140e.he gaves me 1 buje deore and 2 discs deore in this price.is almoast new...the guy didnt like it 4 few adjusts and he buyed a fork with special axe(the big one).i didnt ride this fork, but i think is amazing...is my first real real fork i had...and i hope i will like it when i ll ride it!wat da ppl is sayng is bad is a lie....please ppl i jumped with a rockrider 100mm fork 12 stairs and a lot more and nottin and is a s...t fork...is 100e in the decathlon shop...so i dont know if somttin will hapend w this fork...this thing with loosing air i dont belive it or maybe is posible if the guy is 150kg and when he jump and touch the ground goes like a brick...when u jump u must control ur body, son, and make ur body comport like u know u must touch the ground like a flake...i hope i finish mi bike soon and i will enjoy this nice drop off 2005(i think is 130mmm or maybe 150)
Strengths: Stiff, 5inches(130mm) of travel. 20mm through axle. can be made very plush (I only recommend with the 110+mm models) pretty burly, can use the Marzocchi integrated fender. looks like its big brother, the Z.1
Weaknesses: SSV dampening. People give this fork a hard time because of it, it does have little to no adjustability. only one side air preload, other side rebound. It's quite spiky and is a little harsh on your wrists. its also very noisy
Bottom Line:
Its an okay fork. it doesnt really bother me, think about it though, the JR T and 66VF are both SSV and SSVF dampening. this fork is just a little less beefy than the 66VF and in my experience, is a more controlled fork. its not a really good fork for DH or even harsh freeride. its more an AM/DJ fork. I run mine pretty plush, around 30% sag. mine is a hard version to find. being 130mm and with 20mm through axle. if the fork comes on your bike, keep it around. its a good backup fork or it also makes a pretty decent AM fork in any of the travel settings. Keep in mind, this fork is very loud on the trail. and the dampening is kind of chunky feeling. try to find something like a stance flow. it has much better dampening and also has travel adjust and rebound adjust. I moved onto a stance flow, and now keep this around as a backup.

Strengths: Good travel & soft landings
Weaknesses: Heavy
Bottom Line:
This is my first real fork that came with my Rockhopper and so far for cross country and moderate dirt jumping below 5 feet they are handling quite well. Still trying to find the right air pressure for a good stiffness and give ratio for trail riding and jumping. I have made some hard landings with no problems or any leaks. The only down side I have seen thus far is the weight. Very solid fork! I would suggest buying.

Strengths: Very strong design. Has Disc mount. Air Preload. Oil dampening.
Weaknesses: Heavy. No dampening adjustment (besides lighter/thicker oil).
Bottom Line:
This is an excellent shock. It is not for downhilling, or extreme freeride, but for dirt jumping, urban riding, and drops less that 7 feet, it's excellent. It is holding up GREAT. The air preload is sweet, if you want travel, dump the preload, if you need to hit bigger drops, up the pressure. This fork is right for moderate to advanced riders for the appropriate riding.

Strengths: NONE!!!
Weaknesses: Heavy, no adjustment besides air preload, damping is CRAP, NOT plush, sucky squishy sound, flexy, quick release, no good for big hits
Bottom Line:
DONT BUY THIS FORK! Save your money and buy a higher end fork like a Marzocchi 66. Dont fool yourself into thinking the Dropoff is a good shock, because it is the bottom of the barrel. Once you have ridden something that is actually decent, there is no going back. So, take it from one who has ridden one extensively...DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
