Strengths: Lock-out is beautiful, adjustable travel is great. Very stiff for a rider my size 6'2' 210lbs.
Weaknesses: None...
Bottom Line:
The RS Pyslo Race is everything I hoped it would be. I had heard some pretty bad things about this fork, but went against those opinions and have been satisfied. I have over a thousand miles on this fork and everything still works great. I would highly recommend this fork to anyone that is looking for a stiffer fork than what typically comes on your new rig.

Strengths: Lock Out, U-Turn adjustment
Weaknesses: Lock Out broke after first week but was repaired by the shop on warranty and has been fine ever since.
Bottom Line:
Good set up overall. Handles well on single track and up to about two foot drops. I am 230 pounds, 49 years old and ride 10 to 15 hours six months a year. I have had better shocks and worse shocks. But for long climbs I like lowering the shock and locking it out. It makes my bike much more versatile.

Strengths: U-Turn works well, lockout does too,not too heavy and nice shiny crown, cool little sticker with it too.Damping is more adjustable than other rockshox.
Weaknesses: right out of the box the fork would click when compressed a little in the 125mm position.rockshox gave me a quick fix but far from fixed,a week later it clicks some more, adjusting down to 100mm and click is gone.Spring is too light, unless your a little kid you should buy the stiffer springs.
Bottom Line:
good fork for performance if you don't mind the little noises,a lot of quality in adjustment. Not for the weight weenies, not for the hucker, just for light to moderate XC.For the retail price i would look elsewhere but if you can get a deal it's worth it.
Strengths: Good feel, adjustability, friendly people to talk to at SRAM - most of the time.
Weaknesses: Remote lockout lever is 5hit, stock spring seems a bit soft for a freeride fork ($35 for a new one), flaking paint, peeling decals...
Bottom Line:
Not a bad ride for a disposable fork. If you are looking for a product that will last more than a season you might do better somewhere else- Read on if you care for details...
Purchased via Rockshox trade-in program through LBS. Its great Rockshox does the trade in thing - its too bad they stop selling replacement parts for thier forks after two years forcing you to trade them in. I guess 2 years is the maximum expected lifetime of a Rockshox fork. The way this one is going it will be lucky to make it through a year.
Let me first say this fork feels nice on the trail (once you have the proper spring) and the adjustability is great. If it continues to perform than it has one thing going for it.
With that said, every other aspect of this fork is a gimmic. The remote lockout lever is crap. If you actually ride your bike- kiss your remote lockout lever good-bye. The people at SRAM were nice enough to send the plastic on-the-fork knob in replacement after commenting that the remote adjuster wasn't really the best choice for actual trail riding(?)....
I typically don't care how a component looks if it performs well. Things usually get trashed on the trail anyways. However, the "magnesium" finish on the crown was flaking off before the fork was even on the bike. And the lame decails did me the favor of falling off before I had a chance to rip them off. The plastic (replacement) adjuster knobs have started to crack and I expect thier departure soon.
Overall if this fork doesn't self destruct before the end of this season i think I am doing well. Once all of the extra parts a shinny paint have fallin off this a fun fork to ride
Strengths: stiff, u-turn, 3-5" travel, pure system works great, remote lockout, great crown color and paint. PLUSH
Weaknesses: a little flexier than my fox on my xc bike.
Bottom Line:
a bit flexy for freeride but excellent in 3" mode for riding in the skate park or hardtail freeride, trials, street riding. lots of fun. now the only thing keeping my riding down is the impossible to manual frame.

Strengths: Works nice and smooth. U-turn. Remote Lock-out.
Weaknesses: Weight!!!
Bottom Line:
Happy till now with that fork. Works really good. During climbing I use the Lock-out to prevent bobbing, no problem with Remote-control from the handlebar. Don't forget to unlock on top! I did several times! Lock-out and arms didn't like it. Normally I never use the U-Turn. To much work to change travel. If you want a good, stable fork witch doesn't make you a lot of trouble, this is it! But if you are a weightwatcher look for an other fork.
