Strengths:    buttery smooth travel, super light, not nearly as flexy as they are made out to be, no more than a crappy boxxer anyways. best fork i have put on my bike

Weaknesses:    #1) the price, not everyone can go drop 1500-1800 on a new fork.
very very slight leakage from the seals, but what invert doesnt leak a tiny bit? well worth having to put in 10cc of oil every second week or so, depending on how much you ride.

Bottom Line:
best fork out there. bottem line! if Bearcloth can chuck em off 20+ footers and not break em then you know they are strong. will out perform any fork out there, awsome pedal platform, easy adjustability, no were near as finicky as a boxxer, dampaning is money, never bottemed fork out yet and the first thing i went and did was a 8+ft before even tuning it to my liking. if these forks were as flexy and weak as everyone is trying to make them out to be then why would so many top dh/fr riders be using them?

Dorado vs DVO Emerald

Wanted to see if anyone had any real world comparisons to the two forks. Reading all the great reviews for the Dorado has me very curious and wanting to try one out. I am currently on an Emerald and have no complaints about it, I am just wondering how they compare. Thanks!Read More »

Manitou Dorado- 591 A2C height!? Can it go lower?

I'm interested in purchasing a Dorado for my Canfield One frame. The listed a2c height is 591. This will be my first dual crown purchase and from what i have found is it is around 25-30 more then most long travel forks.
