$350.00 | | Purchased At: | Bicycle Super Store | | Strengths: | he frame is as tough as nails (full chromo), brakes are good but diff bikes will have diff brakes. Rims and tyres are good and have not had a problem yet. | | Weaknesses: | The stock seat can get very uncomfortable if riding all day. The stock grips are no good if your using this ike for anything other than riding to the shops. As soon as you pop a few monos or any other ariel tricks, the grips just fall apart and your hands will soon be black with rubber. (Always wear gloves). | | Similar Products Used: | Haro Backtrail X1 | | Bike Setup: | Stock, other than aftermarket seat | | Bottom Line: | A fantastic bike for the money and a great beginners bike. $230.00 | | Purchased At: | Volpatti's Cycles | | Strengths: | -Great Frame -Hasn't broke on me yet -Grips feel comfortable -Is easy to throw around in the air -The gearing feels great -Easy to ride wheelies and manuals on -Great bike for the price | | Weaknesses: | I've only found 2 weaknesses:
If you don't wear gloves, the grips get real sweaty and your hands will come off very easy. I was hitting my friend's dirt tabletop when this happened and I broke my middle finger. Remember to always wear your gloves if your using the stock grips.
The other weakness I found was that the brakes need adjusted a lot. I mean, the brakes themsleves are acutally pretty good compared to a lot of bikes, but I found myself constantly adjusting the brakes after the first week I had the bike. | | Similar Products Used: | Haro Mirra 540 Air Numerous Diamondbacks GT Zone Some old, rusted Dyno | | Bike Setup: | Stock except for some stickers | | Bottom Line: | I am very pleased with this bike. It feels nearly indestructible and can handle pretty much everything you put it through. It is great for beginners and it has a pretty low price. I highly reccomend it over the Backtrail X1 and X0. Go out, buy one, and enjoy it. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
