Submitted by bob burnquist a Racer from cleveland ohio
Date Reviewed: December 24, 2004
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $350.00
Purchased At:Solonbicycle.com
Strengths:Superior light weight, quality components at an affordable price for an entry level mini.
Weaknesses:Cheap Freewheel and chain.
Similar Products Used:Powerlite mini
Bike Setup:For a 5 yr old.
Bottom Line:This little mini has great wheels. Sun M13II outers and it has hollow chromoly axles, sealed bearings, and a radial laced front wheel. It has a sweet sealed aheadset. The stem is very similar to a Crupi. The pedals could be upgraded, but for the price, they'll do nicely. Chromoly fork, with a fantastic quality aluminum frame. Comfortable grips and a nice linear pull brake. Motorcycle style chain tensioners! 3D dropouts. Fused plastic seat, to an aluminum post. Much like the old school "Uni" seats. Truly a wonderful complete bicycle, for the aspiring young racer.
