$360.00 | | Purchased At: | A-1 Bikes, Herndon, VA | | Strengths: | Unique 7005 hydroformed aluminum frame; beautiful paint job and graphics; custom Haro designed seat; internal headset; integrated chain tensioners. | | Weaknesses: | It's LONG (37.25 wheelbase, 21.26 top tube) and HEAVY (26.1 lbs). Frame alone is 4 lbs. 12 oz. Cranks are long (180mm) with a Haro, proprietary BB (8-splined star spindle, NOT ISIS) | | Bike Setup: | Stock | | Bottom Line: | This is probably better suited for bigger, heavier riders. It's pretty beefy for a competition bike. With it's aluminum frame and long wheelbase, you won't get tired riding this even if you ride it very hard. The paint on the seat falls off as well as the painted Haro logos on the right crankarm. Great climber! | | Bottom Line: | The frame makes the bike. You don't see this type of detail except on MTB and Road. It's nice to see a beautiful TIG welded frame for the BMX class. The rpice is very reasonable considering the light weight and technology of the XL.
