Strengths:    Light, and quick handling.

Weaknesses:    If you grow, you have to get the Limo.

Bottom Line:
Quick bike. Made to race and win. I was probably 160lbs and 5'9 when I raced this particular bike, and won alot! I took #4 in CT my first year as Expert. The 24" model was more suited as a twin if you rode the Limo. The Limo would be if you are over 5'10" and have strong arms.

Strengths:    LITE WEIGHT!, perfect sized top tube and standover for my 10 year old. This bike weigh's in at 17.5 lbs! Nice finish, style. Good rear brake.

Weaknesses:    Snapped some spokes, but thats due to the flyweight of this bike! Welds are a little rough looking.

Bottom Line:
Great value, fast, lite, looks great.

2010 Rockhopper Expert

There is a Rockhopper Expert for sale locally and I was curious what people's opinions are on this bike and what it might be worth. It seems to be in good condition, just some scratches and stuff. I am rather new and have been wanting to replace my 13 year old Trek. Our trails have moderate hills, r ... Read More »

Newb-ish - Picked up new bike - Carve Expert

Not a beginner - would call myself beginner-ish. I've ridden off and on for quite a few years. Started very young and loved it. Had a Haro mtb back then. Back when I lived in Orlando, FL picked up a Gary Fisher entry lvl and rode with friends from work. 2008 picked up a Raleigh Mojave 5.0 and rod ... Read More »

Manitou Marvel Pro or Expert users, STEP INSIDE!

I cannot find any worthwhile reviews on this fork. I'm looking at the '13 Pro or Expert with 15QR. I'm most interested in hearing from people who have come from newer SID, REBA, or Fox F100 forks to try the new Marvel. And also i'd like to hear peoples opinion on if it's worth spending more ...
