Strengths: Proven race bike, pretty good specs stock, excellent frame, great price.Weaknesses: Very long bike means it isn't great for jumping if you are smaller, fairly harsh stock bars. A couple crappy stock items on the spec list and two parts with US allen bolts. A bit heavier than expected.Bottom Line: This is a great race bike with a stiff frame and quick geometry. The stock wheels are very strong. The original brakes were pretty lame so I swapped in XT's and a much nicer lever when I built this. I also had to go with the, then, de rigeur Profile 3pc crankset & Atomic pedals. I do wish it had front brake bosses but that is because I used it as an all-around play bike and the Legend was not the right DK model for that.

Strengths: the wheels (hubs and rims) the frame is nice and liteWeaknesses: heavy forks, narrow handle bars for a race bike. cheep freewheel, snaped doing sprint training.
the CHOP STIX cranks: cracked at the welds after 2 months got replacements and they cracked 6 months later, this time dad welded them and they have lasted well.Bottom Line: nice and lite frame, good wheels heavy forks and lots of broken bits. now that its fixed good for dirt jumping and a cost effective race bike.
