$200.00 | | Purchased At: | ozone | | Strengths: | fit, handling, reliability | | Weaknesses: | seat, seatpost, rear tire | | Similar Products Used: | free agent ambush 24, diamondback nitrus 24 | | Bike Setup: | installed 25t sprocket for spinning and hillclimbing, bontrager seat, maxxis rear knobby tire | | Bottom Line: | I switched from mountain bikes to bmx cruisers a year ago.
This bike fits a short adult better, has stronger wheels, a more reliable drivetrain, and handles better than any mtb I've ever ridden.
On this particular model, I didn't like the narrow dk seat and huffy-like seatpost it came with. The stock rear tire had no traction in wet conditions and I replaced it with a taller knobby.
This is a good bike, but other 24's I've had come with better parts out of the box.
