Strengths:    Sturdy design, decent components, low price-point

Weaknesses:    A bit heavy and slow...but it's designed as a comfort tandem. Rear tire failed at about 100 miles.

Bottom Line:
We were looking for a first tandem for easy rides. This fit our needs nicely. A comfortable bike that's good for short or moderate trips, handles well and shifts nicely. Brakes do their job...better than expected. Not the bike for the long-distance rider, but if you're looking for a tandem to do short distances in comfort, it's a good choice.
