Strengths: Everything. this bike is good for all sorts of riding like freeride, dirt jumps and perfect for parks and street riding. But you should put a knew bottom bracket and fork on it because I snaped them both in half.
Weaknesses: Not to good for cross country. And also Comes with suck ass componts.
Bottom Line:
If you dont like to jump off of stuff and do fat hucking you should not buy this bike. If you do like to do that stuff this bike is perfect for YOU.

Strengths: best for dirt jumping and freeriding comes with good comonents a pretty stiff fork and its good for street and park you should get 24s when you get it so its like a bmx bike
Weaknesses: none
Bottom Line:
fun good buy it now good bike get it good for almost everything comes with an ok set up best for jumping and street buy the bike you will be happey with it plus it dosent have a weakness it can face anything this bike is the bomb the p3 rocks
Strengths: Solid, disc tab area has been fixed, good geometry
Weaknesses: A little heavy
Bottom Line:
First I have to say props to Specialized for sending me this frame for free. The Specialized Enduro hard tail ('01) model had problems with the rear disc tab which broke off twice in two weeks. I ended up going back to the LBS & they contacted Specialized where they sent me a new frame.
I also do a lot of trials & though rear disc is not usually recommended for trials, this frame has lasted me over 8 months even with huge drops & a lot of torquing. The frame does weigh a bit but it's worth it due to the strength. Specialized did reinforce the disc tab area with another piece of aluminum between the rear triangle which I can rely on.
I was upping a 3 foot wall easily with this & dropping close to 8' without a problem. My rims & cassetts went out first. It's definitely a great street & urban ride as well as doing jumps. I recommend it greatly :)
Strengths: The geometry is perfect, it feels so good both in the air and on the street.
Weaknesses: none
Bottom Line:
This frame is amazing, I tried so many bikes before I went with this frame. I is ballanced really well and takes all the pounding i put it through. Not much to say other than try one for yourself and you will be impressed. The DJ1 forks are a good compliment to the frames geometry. I use this bike mostly for Urban assult, Trials and occasionally dirt jumping.

Strengths: The entire bike is built like a beast, it is incredibly dtrong everywhere, but the rims are a bit heavy.
Weaknesses: The rims are a bit heavy, and i am probably going to upgrade the fork to something a bit bigger.
Bottom Line:
This is a great bike, the price is good and the components are all trustworthy and strong. This is the second *TRUE* mountain bike that i have purchased and i could not have bee happier about the outcome. a great bike that deserves a great rider. The P3 is an awesome all around (except XC or DH) bike and will kill most things you throw at it because of its components and unsurpassed reliability! WHAT A BEAST!
Strengths: This is an awesome frame, it feels great in the air, and is has great geometry. Awesome balance points for manualing and jumping.
Weaknesses: None that i've found
Bottom Line:
This is an awesome bike for urban riding, it is super stiff and has great balance points. Real stable on the dirt jumps too. Before I got this, I had a Schwinn that I modified so i could try some urban stuff, then it got stolen. It turned out to be a good think though, because now I have the P3 and it is a world of difference. I tried many dirt jumping/urban bikes like Kona and Norco, but this by far felt the best.

Strengths: Very stiff, low top tube angle, cool design
Weaknesses: Disc brake mount area is tight
Bottom Line:
Specialized sent me this $700 2004 frame after I cracked two 2001 Enduro hardtail frame. (they had a problem with the model)
Anyway, I do trials and urban assault riding and this is one of THE stiffest frame I ever ridden. It doesn't squeak or speak a word but take all the bashing and drops like a charm :)
The only problem is with the disc brakes, it's hard to mount/dismount the wheels. It seems like the disc itself is slighting hitting against the brake assembly's edge and I end up pushing the tires a bit aggressively before it slides in.
Strengths: Frame is made for tons of hucking. Perfect set up and huge welds on all sections that count. Nice ISCG tabs on the bb area and an extra tough weld on the rear brake mount.
Weaknesses: None to date.
Bottom Line:
I have ridden my fair share of XC and DH full suspension bikes. Needed to build something in the middle. Wanted a P.3 from the local bike shop I work at, but it was specked with parts I did not want. Purchased a left-over 2002 P.2 frame [p.2 and p.3 are the same frame, just different decals and parts]. Put all of my custom stuff on it. Built with 24" all around for a real fun jumping and DH set up. Note: The frame does not support a 3.0" rear. Managed to fit a Gazzi 2.6 perfectly. Also build it with an 8" rear brake, since they come from Specialized with a 6". The rest of the parts fit perfectly. The frame is long so I put a shorter 40mm stem on. If you are 5'8" or taller, go with the long frame.
THE RIDE: This bike is the best thing I have built yet. It looks mean and rides even meaner. I ride at a place in RI that has 1-7 foot drops and I hit them all on this rig. It is well balanced and corners very fast. Wheelbase is perfect for dropping in on anything. Also use the bike for urban rides and the same thing applies.
Strengths: Fantastic frame! Strong, Reasonably light for what it is, ISGC mounts, easy to jump, great value for money, versatility,
Weaknesses: None! Whatsoever!
Bottom Line:
All you need to know is that this is the best hardcore hardtail that your £250 (or $400USD) can buy. You have to spend alot more money to get anything close to being better! The ISGC mounts are great! I have had a few problems setting up mrps in the past but this was a breeze!
If you're in the market for a new hardtail frame for street/bsx/jumping/dual etc, look no further!
It can even be built up into a reasonably lightweight hardcore trail bike, but due to its size this might only be an option for people shorter than about 5ft 7".
Strengths: Great components, very nice mid-air balance, confidence inspiring. Suprisingly good on downhills.
Weaknesses: Heavy, mostly because of the wheels (which is even worse than just heavy). I replaced two seats under warranty (Titec crap, I bent the rails badly). Tires are bad for urban (already falling apart).
Bottom Line:
It's a nice bike for flat surface or slops. Going uphill with it is a pain. It's almost perfect for Urban use, other than the delicate seat and the knobby tires. Jumping it is a must. You'll look for new things to launch it from, I assure you.
Otherwise, it's a bit too short for some (including me, at 6'2" I had to bolt on an XC stem to lengthen the riding position).
Bottom line is, for jumping/hucking/just going around the city it's awesome. For real trials, I'd look for something lighter, or just change the wheels.
Bike Setup: Stock, other than Race Face prodigy stem, Azonic Double Wall bar, Setlaz seat, Truvativ chainguide, ODI grips (recommended), 400mm seatpost

Weaknesses: Bottom Bracket blows ass, Broke it, Hayes lever is messed, keeps on popping in and out, I have to ride with one finger 100 % of the time to keep it place, but that's ok.
Bottom Line:
This bike is sweet, can't believe it's held up so long. It wheelies like a mofo, nice for manuals too. It begs for air. It handles nice on downhill sections. Urban riding is pretty good, either i'm out of shape hardcore or it's the bike, but It's pretty dam slow on trails, any sort of up hill I walk it up. I'm lazy too. Buy a new bb and warrenty the stock piece of ass so you have a back up, even tho it wouldnt last long. I say buy this bike because the chicks dig it.
Favorite Trail: anything steep, fast and has drops.
