Strengths:    -Price and value is great.
-Components are Upper middle class (Deore).
-Rocky MTN components are great.Helps cut some cost
-Nice shifting (27speed)

Weaknesses:    -Rock Shox Pilot C 100mm is ok but not the best.
-V-brakes are sufficient but 2004 Trailhead gotz the disc brakes

Strengths:    Good frame good peddels. shifting worked for a little while.

Weaknesses:    seat id very unconferadable and weak. the chain jumps gears when climbing hills and makes many noises. Shocks are very bad should be taken off market. paint chips very easiy

Bottom Line:
it is a very good bike for a beginner im sure i can fix many of the probolms myself with a little time. If your are looking for a starting hardtail i would recommend this or the fusion both are very good bikes.

Strengths:    Very strong frame. Its light. 27 gears. high quality components. 100 mm rock shox pilot c. the Shimano shifters are well designed for shifting awesome breaks. the price is very good for the quality 1025.oo Canadian

Weaknesses:    The crank on mine has a creek sound to it whenever you put some major pressure on it. the shocks could be better maybe like some Manitou blacks or something but they are still very good. The seat post is not very good the bar bends after doing some drop offs.

Bottom Line:
A very good bike for its price. a very good beginners hardtail.
