Strengths:    Woman specific frame geometry; Great specs for the money (Deore front and rear derailleurs; Judy TT); quiet.

Weaknesses:    A bit heavy. Stem is too short. Saddle needs to be changed too.

Bottom Line:
If you want a woman specific MTB that is great value for money, the Tess is a great entry level bike. It performs great on the trails. Though its a little heavy, but after removing the kickstand the weight is manageable. I have a roof rack on my car, and I don't have a problem lifting my bike on the roof.
