Strengths: Great beginner bike to get you into the freeride scene. the frame is fairly stiff and stong. stock rims are not to bad ( rhyno lite) bars are fairly stiff. the fork is strong but a bit to stiff for most riders.
Weaknesses: fork is to stiff. tires are to skinny 2.3would be nice. cranks bb strip and bend. derailure broke. brakes get alot of fade when downhilling.
Bottom Line:
this is a good bke for a beginer rider getin into the freeriding scene. or an xcer. it strong and lite. and will not burn the pocket book. jsut upgrade things as they break and youll have a nice bike. if you have any questions feel free to email me.
Strengths: Good components, good paint, disk brakes, fork
Weaknesses: front derailer, tires too small (needs 2.3's), seat is a little hard.
Bottom Line:
Good bike, good value. Needs new front derailer, bigger tires. Worth looking at if you want a good trail bike, but don't want to spend too much. The stuff thats no good can be upgarded for not much money. I would reccommend this bike to anyone.
Strengths: Well, 7005 aluminum helps a lot. The frame is very solid and stiff. I choose 17" for all mountain, I am impressed with every attribute of this frame. I have put my own part spec on it. Personally, I hate the stock specs.
Weaknesses: Nothing quite yet... (be sure I will write differently if anything happens!)
Bottom Line:
It's alright! I would suggest it to a customer who's looking for a solid XC frame, not as a stock bike.

Strengths: When you buy the norco big foot. you get your moneys worth that is for sure. you get 2 6 inch mechanical disks. hill rod black rims( arent the best but pretty good).
Weaknesses: I find the weekness on this bike to be the derailer. but overall i have 2 thumbs up.
Bottom Line:
The botton line is that if you dont have lots of money to spend and you want a stylish strong and overall what you need to ride. this is the bike for you.

Strengths: frame is super strong and the disks are nice the stemk is good and beefy
Weaknesses: rims, tires, cranks, derailer (front and rear)forks are to stiff needed to put lighter oil and springs in.
Bottom Line:
awsome bike for beginers. If you want to be serious then get some better rims and a better crnk and after get a new fork but all the rest is pretty good.
Strengths: The Price. I got this bike for 680 bucks canadian, wich was about 525 U.S. This was supposed to be a heavier bike than others, but since I live up here in canada and the weather is allways like raining I think it's great. It's a nice, strong bike.
Weaknesses: Well, for one the Disc Pad on the front is rubbing against the disc, I have to get that fixed. ALso when in 8th gear the chain rubs against some metal so it creat's a 'click' 'click' 'click' noice as im riding.
Bottom Line:
It's a sweet bike, definetly the best I could get for this Price. It can take a beating with minimal damage(I know somethings are gonna break, like the crank) but ya super bike.
Strengths: Its a pretty good price, great bike for people just starting out
Weaknesses: I went threw 3 sets of cranks on warrenty before switching to hussefelts. the chain that came with the bike was way too long, so i needed to take some links out to stop it from derailing every 2 seconds
Bottom Line:
pretty good cheap bike to start out on. if you put some money into it she can be a pretty sweet bike.
Strengths: Great frame and geometry, price/value, most components.
Weaknesses: Worst experience at a shop ever, blow a grand on a bike and they won't throw in a $50 bash gaurd, cheap f*ckers, not that i'm bitter, but I will do my best to never return and tell all who'll listen. Cheapest factory headset ever, lasted 2 weeks.
Bottom Line:
The headset was sh*t, after one week there was an odd click when pulling side to side on the bars, the headset wasn't loose and I was stumped, then removed it and replaced with the marginally new one off my newly retired steed cum grocery getter, problem solved. the shock doesn't feel like it is getting it's true 100mm, and haven't recieved any word from Marzocchi after 2 e-mails and 3 weeks. That said, this bike kicks ass. It's handlid eveything I've thrown at it begging for more, really couldn't be happier. Maybe I should have asked the shop to throw in a headset, eh?
Bike Setup: Bontranger Race post, Kore downhill stem and freeride bar, Selle Italia XO seat(the one with the maple leafs on it), Kore skewers, Simano 535 or Bombshell flats, depending on mood, WTB Momentum headset, ODI lock-on grips.

Strengths: I have last years bike, and I got it at a price discounted twice :). If last years bike is any indication of this years bike I highly recommend it. Sure as hell ain't a race bike but I've done well with it. A first place in my fourth race. It handles the bumps almost as well as any soft tail, and it turns on a dime. Jumps evenly too, without any lean or drop on either the front or back.
Weaknesses: Th only weaknesses I've had are with the crank and the rear deraileur. I just replaced the crank because it became stripped. The new 2003 bike has the same crank but with a different connector inside. I hope it works better. The rear deraileur needs to be tuned often. I've tuned mine at least 6 or 7 times already (time for an upgrade). Oh ya, and the rims are a little weak. I'm only 125 pounds and I've had problems with them. But maybe it's cause of the jumps I do.
Bottom Line:
For anyone looking for a fast, fun bike that can put even the fastest of race bikes through their paces, go for it. Climbs extremely fast, even if it weighs a ton, and accelerates quickly too. Great for beginners, or experienced riders also because it is just so damn fun to ride. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Anyone who is looking for a serious race bike look elsewhere. This is not what you are looking for, unless you are looking to impress those people with the $2000 + bikes by beating them with a much cheaper, heavier bike. He he he.

Strengths: frame, wheel stem handle bar and everything
Weaknesses: well disc brake, my disc is rubbing against the disc pad and rear disc screw came off so had to get new ones fork too stiff seat is too hard fork is heavy grips they hurt your hand if you dont wear gloves and tires looks more like 1.95 than 2.1
Bottom Line:
nice bike for its price but before you go ride you might want to check all the screw on your disc brake to make sure they are all tight and everything else is good but grips you might want to wear glove even if you go riding on a street cuz they hurt and seat is hard but its ok

Strengths: Strong enough frame, cheap price for quality components, pretty good rims
Weaknesses: fork bottomed all the time, cheap bar, cranks are skrewy (broke crank rite off), seat is cheap
Bottom Line:
This is a great ride for people just getting into the sport, great for trail rides and the occasional urban session, descent dirt jumper, and even a little freeriding. Just so you know this bike is not a DH rig, I bought it thinking it was going to take big hits, it didn't and i payed the price, and then i payed some more, and a little more. So if you ride big, and are on a budget hold out until you can afford a bike that is more freeride specific. All in all this is a cool bike don't hesitate buying it if you aren't really sure wut kind of riding youdo.
