Date Reviewed: February 15, 2003
Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $535.00
Purchased At:Mike's Bikes
Strengths:Bang for your buck!
Weaknesses:The disc brakes can be weak
Similar Products Used:Giant Iguana Disc
Bike Setup:stock
Bottom Line:I work in the bike shop mentioned above but I do not own one of these. I have built one and spent some time on it. $500 for a stock bike w/ disc brakes is very appealing. The brakes are generic and don't offer the stopping power of Avids or Hayes mech. brakes do and you'll have to adjust them more then others. If you are on a budget or don't do real heavy off road riding it is okay. Best idea is to test it out for yourself and make your own opinion. But if your serious about riding save your time and money and bite the bullet and spend alittle more.

Submitted by Joe Public a Weekend Warrior from Ft. Pierce, FL
Date Reviewed: December 6, 2002
Favorite Trail:none yet
Duration Product Used:Tested or demo'ed only
Strengths:I'm actually thinking about buying this bike. My first real bike was a Schwinn Moab and I loved it. I saw the Thrill a few weeks ago and took it for a test spin. Not a bad bike for the money. I only have about $500 to spend and would like to know if I should pursue this purchase. Components are good. ProMax machanical discs with centering adjuster. Suntour MG-XCP-75 fork
Weaknesses:Gear shift and brake lever are combined. If I replace one I would have to replace all.
Similar Products Used:I'm not sure what's comparible to the Thrill. I have taken the Gary Fisher Tarrahassa for a spin and I'm trying to make a descision between the two. The GF is a little more but doesn't have the discs brakes and it's
Bike Setup:Stock. If I were to get it I would definitely change to a longer stem.
Bottom Line:This seems to be a good bike but I'm not to familiar with Fuji. Is there anyone out there to give me their honest opinion on this bike and let me know if I should be directing my efforts elsewhere. Seems to give me the most bang for my buck
