$1400.00 | | Purchased At: | beyond bikes | | Strengths: | Very strong. Great geomtry for dirt jumping, mtn cross, and dual slalom. Shock chip allows alot of geomtry adjustment for personal preferences and for different forks. Perfect when used with 4" fork. | | Weaknesses: | A little heavy if intended for racing. Bottom bracket to high with the use of a 5" fork and the steep head tube angle position. | | Similar Products Used: | trek hardtail. ellsworth joker. giant stp. | | Bike Setup: | manitou fork, saint cranks, hadley hubs, sun rynolite rims, magura brakes | | Bottom Line: | Perfect frame for someone who is into dirt jumping and street riding but also wants to race mtn cross and dual slalom with the same bike. The frame will take a beating. It also rides single track well. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from L.A. Date Reviewed: April 29, 2004 | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | Where to begin? This bike is so fun! It turns exactly as the name implies. It is such a good jumper. So fun to go big on this bike. I've been to the dirt jumps, skate park, BMX track and the bike is just plain fun to ride. It is very quick handling but not sketchy or twitchy. This thing is burly and built to last. | | Weaknesses: | It only comes in flat black. | | Similar Products Used: | Trek Bruiser, Turner XCE, Turner DHR | | Bike Setup: | Z-1, Mr.Dirt, S.U.V. wheels, Truvativ cranks | | Bottom Line: | As a test rider for Mountain Bike Action Magazine I get to ride a lot of bikes, and the Turner Rail is the funnest bike I've ever ridden. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
