Strengths:    Bullit proof frame and cranks, nice rims, single chain ring, 8 in rotors.

Weaknesses:    Forks sucks and are to small, rear shock also sucks, cable brakes. Needs alot of upgrades.

Bottom Line:
A cheap bike that has some good components, and some that suck. Great bike for mild downhiller. With new forks and rear shock its a bullit proof bike.

Strengths:    Beefy. Looks great. The stock setup works well. I'm suprised at how well the MX1 brakes work. There's loads of stopping power. I haven't had to adjust anything on the bike after the first ride. The tires are grippy, and huge.

Weaknesses:    ummm...Beefy. It's heavy, so stay away from uphills. I haven't weighed it but I've bulked up just from loading it for trips. The front fork (Mozo X5.5S) kinda sucks but I have no fear of breaking it in half. The rear shock is still working but needs to be replaced.

Bottom Line:
I got it for a good price since it was hardly used. It was a good purchase. If you ride this thing you will sweat. It's heavy but I've felt in total control at all times but deep sand. It needs some protection cause I keep bashing the big ring on stuff. The shock and fork are ok.

Strengths:    Brilliant light weiht, easy to ride bike. Its easy to clean and good parts even when stock.

Weaknesses:    bad breaks as standard (hayes mags) and the rear wheel is smaller which makes it hard to ride uphill or even on the flat.

Bottom Line:
awsome bike, lighter than any orange downhill bikes, good looking and relativley cheap for what you get. I strongly advice it if you are looking for a downhill or extreme freeride bike. Best downhill bike ive ever riden.

Strengths:    The frame is sturdy, mostly has good components. extremely good bike for making it into a beast. after you have upgraded a couple parts the bike is amazing!

Weaknesses:    The fork is horrible, in the first month the fork's seals were blown and the rebound adjustment on it hardly works. The rear shock is way too weak I can bottom it out off small drops and i only weigh 130 lbs. Also the pedals and the grips are crap because they are stock. The parts i ended up replacing; fork, rear shock, grips, and pedals.

Bottom Line:
This bike is great for beginners but even better to build on. It is amazing for the price you would expect, but if you want it to be a beast you better be ready to spend some cash.

Strengths:    Strong Frame, nice cranks

Weaknesses:    Little heavey but not bad, i would say that the biggest weakness of this bike is the front forks. mine is a 2005 and it came with the manitou stance blunt forks, they have no adjustments to them except rebound speed. these forks are absolutly S**T

Bottom Line:
Its a good bike just change the front forks

Strengths:    bullet proof frame and cranks.great if you have a tight buget 8in rotors

Weaknesses:    the stock fork sucks and dosent have a 9 speed cog set and a finiky derular

Bottom Line:
the bike is a good place to start for a beginner and if you have a tight buget you can afford it. it needs alot of up grades if you are going to do big jumps and drops on it. i droped off the bleachers at my high school on to an angled park bench from 15 . this cracked my fork

Strengths:    bombproof frame-cranks-8" rotors- ended up replacing everthing else on bike

Weaknesses:    everything but frame and cranks

Bottom Line:
sweet bike if you completely overhaul it- but for a begginer it is a great bike- also cheap enough for you to ride until you can put the parts on that you want. I am thinking about upgrading to a monster fork- jr t does not perform how I want it to .But this bike rides well for urban, downhill, and freeride. I am very impressed!

So bottom line if you want a cheap all around bike that you want to build up this is a good buy!!!
