$1400.00 | | Purchased At: | ebay | | Strengths: | everything | | Weaknesses: | nothing | | Bike Setup: | rock shox pike u-turn fork, fox float r rear shock, avid juicy five hydraulic brakes. | | Bottom Line: | Awsome bike. I would recomend to all downhill or freeride riders. One of the best i'v had. Has never given me trouble wherever i'v been riding. Especially after installing the pike forks, this is the bike i need. $1000.00 | | Purchased At: | Private Deal | | Strengths: | Looks Great, super nible when rolling | | Weaknesses: | Suspension sucks all your energy. Tons of pedalling bob. Suspension couldn't be set up properly | | Similar Products Used: | Stinky, Norco Launch, Specialized Big Hit, | | Bike Setup: | Pike, 24rear 26front. | | Bottom Line: | Bottom out king. I couldn't even manual a set of 8 stairs without it bottoming out, and that was with a 1000lb spring!!!!!! And I'm only 150lbs. Plus it would bob when I was pedalling downhill, while sitting down, on a sidewalk! Get a small stinky. The suspension is waaaaay simpler, can be set up easier, and it pedals like a hardtail when you're sitting down, you can even use it for XC, they're lighter, super nimble, has two more inches of travel, are waaaaaay more versitile, and they're just as cheap. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$420.00 | | Purchased At: | Bought frame only used | | Strengths: | lots of standover, fairly light, sick little bike. | | Weaknesses: | only 4.3" travel but thats it. | | Similar Products Used: | none, first fs, very unique | | Bike Setup: | 24" double tracks, z5 forks, haye hfx 9, vanilla r, and more and more. | | Bottom Line: | This is the funnest bike i have used. good for all around, dj, street, downhill, singletrack, north shore. soon to be upgradin to bigger rc and z150. not enough travel, i find myself havin to land perfect and if i dont it will bottom out easily. bottom line is this is a crazy bike formost ridin styles but needs more travel, besides that the bike is awesome and i recommend it to everyone. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$750.00 | | Purchased At: | Rivercity Bikes | | Strengths: | Great frame design. Tons of standover room. Great geometry. This thing rips for DJ's and fast DH single-track!!!!! | | Weaknesses: | Rear shock is pinner. They could've atleast hooked up a Vanilla R...Rear travel: Could've made it 5" even, but hey, it doesn't matter | | Similar Products Used: | None, this is my first FS FR rig...came from a steel HT | | Bike Setup: | Stock...changing to a new Vanilla RC w/Pro-pedal, and changing out the link plates...Fork is going to my HT, and a new 04 Sherman Break-out is on it's way in... | | Bottom Line: | Sweet little bike. They're small, and you absoutely must get an Axiom telescopic seat post to be able to ride it any real distance. The frame is realy Burrly, and even with only 4.3" of travel, comming from a HT, it feels like 10"... Cant wait to hit the MRT... | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

from Grande Prairie, Ab, Canada Date Reviewed: June 1, 2003 | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Purchased At: | lbs | | Strengths: | Components, Frame design, price, this bike is flat out fun. this bike has less than half the travel of my dh rig but twice as fun. | | Weaknesses: | heavier rear spring, I weigh a respectable 187 and find myself bottoming out on the simplest things. heavier spring a must. | | Similar Products Used: | absolutely none | | Bike Setup: | stock w/telescopic post, and odi ruffians | | Bottom Line: | I now know why so many people are buying HTs, light FR bikes. they are so damn fun. Luggin around 40lbs bikes is fun, but theres only so much you can do with them.
Goin from MOnster t to dj3...wow Once I get my hookworms this bike will be set. Bottom line, this bike rips. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
