Strengths: Everything, Sensitive yet efficient suspension geometry which is astonishingly similar to that of the Intense Spider XT frame which sells for much over $1,500. Easy to find parts such as derailleur hangers, bearings, shocks, etc... Very comfortable and can take a huge beating. Could easily compete strength wise, to an average DH bikeWeaknesses: Not very capable of being modified to accept a larger travel damper/spring assembly.Bottom Line: I bought this K2 Attack 3.0 As a bare frame with a wrecked Derailleur hanger. I bought a new hanger anodized in black, and thicker than oem hanger. I slowly built it up with new parts for the past month. I have been so happy with this bike I don't think I'll ever need a new frame. It fits me good, gets all the power to the ground, And is light enough to do XC riding. The suspension is very forgiving and can take real big drops and jumps without hesitation even with its limited amount of travel. No weak spots in the frame have been found yet. Very trustworthy frame. Great for All Mountain riding and anything else. My bike currently weighs about 29.5lbs and is strong as all hell! +Paint scheme on bike is very attractive and looks great up close!

Strengths: look it's great when you first get and when the suspension breaks in the bike is fine.Weaknesses: There are so many weaknesses on this bike I don't know where to start, personally I just cracked my frame and my bike is practically falling apart. I have put new wheels on it because the last ones bent so much I couldn't ride it. As for the crank, well it simply fall's off if I don't tighten it every mile. Overall this bike is not a bike for a serious rider...Bottom Line: THIS BIKE IS NOT FOR ANY HALF SERIOUS RIDER PERIOD!!!!!!

Strengths: a great bike!!!! i really can't say enough for it!!! the shocks are great!! awesome components!!Weaknesses: the breaks are fine, but sometimes they squeak. (i don't have the disc. brakes though.)Bottom Line: i have the '01 Attack 3.0 without the disc-brakes.honestly, it is a great value for your money!!!! i take the bike everywhere, and it has never let me down.
