Favorite Trail:The ones without names
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $30.00
Purchased At:International Bicycle Center
Strengths:Everything, Sensitive yet efficient suspension geometry which is astonishingly similar to that of the Intense Spider XT frame which sells for much over $1,500. Easy to find parts such as derailleur hangers, bearings, shocks, etc... Very comfortable and can take a huge beating. Could easily compete strength wise, to an average DH bike
Weaknesses:Not very capable of being modified to accept a larger travel damper/spring assembly.
Similar Products Used:Trek Fuel 80, Intense Spyder XC, Proflex Reptile.
Bike Setup:K2 Attack 3.0 Dual suspension, 2002 Marzocchi DJ2 130 forks, Chris King Headset, Thompson Elite stem, Azonic World Force riser bars, Jagwire linear shift cable, Deore LX Front Derailleur, SRAM SX5 9spd gripshifts, SRAM X9 Rear Derailleur, XTR Chain, SRAM Powerglide cassette, Sun Rhynolite rims laced with DT'S to Deore Disk hubs, Ti Skewers. TruVativ Holzfeller cranks, Wellgo MG16 Pedals, Maxxis High Roller 2.2'S, Easton Seatpost, Mosh Seat.
Bottom Line:I bought this K2 Attack 3.0 As a bare frame with a wrecked Derailleur hanger. I bought a new hanger anodized in black, and thicker than oem hanger. I slowly built it up with new parts for the past month. I have been so happy with this bike I don't think I'll ever need a new frame. It fits me good, gets all the power to the ground, And is light enough to do XC riding. The suspension is very forgiving and can take real big drops and jumps without hesitation even with its limited amount of travel. No weak spots in the frame have been found yet. Very trustworthy frame. Great for All Mountain riding and anything else. My bike currently weighs about 29.5lbs and is strong as all hell! +Paint scheme on bike is very attractive and looks great up close!

Favorite Trail:whistler
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $800.00
Purchased At:REI
Strengths:look it's great when you first get and when the suspension breaks in the bike is fine.
Weaknesses:There are so many weaknesses on this bike I don't know where to start, personally I just cracked my frame and my bike is practically falling apart. I have put new wheels on it because the last ones bent so much I couldn't ride it. As for the crank, well it simply fall's off if I don't tighten it every mile. Overall this bike is not a bike for a serious rider...
Similar Products Used:Big hit, some other european bike...
Bike Setup:2002 bike with new wheels, new brakes, new pedals, and new grips.
Bottom Line:THIS BIKE IS NOT FOR ANY HALF SERIOUS RIDER PERIOD!!!!!!
