Favorite Trail:Attitash Downhill, getting sicker everyyear
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $600.00
Purchased At:Joe Jones
Strengths:Good for the money
pretty good seat
can do drops
Weaknesses:Tires-they are so thin they are like road biking tires
Similar Products Used:K2 Zed 1.0, Specialized Big Hit Comp,Ironhorse Maveric, Ironhorse Warrior Disc, Trek 4500, Trek 4100, Gary Fisher Big Sur, Tomac, k2 Zed 2.0, specialized Stump Jumper, and much much more
Bike Setup:K2 Attack 1.0 with Maxxis front tire and WTB tires in the back.
Bottom Line:For the money this bike is great. I did a whole season at Attitash and I was keeping up with guys on Cove bikes and Tomacs and such. The bike can do drops pretty good too. The SR Suntour fork persorms alot better than I though it would. I recently took it for XC riding and it did great too. 5/5.

Date Reviewed: September 24, 2003
Favorite Trail:Palo Duro
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $399.00
Purchased At:Pauls Parts
Strengths:Great Frame, and I actually Like the cheap Suntour Shock on the from, no complaints about that at all. All the Attack frames are the same.
Weaknesses:Deraillers
Bike Setup:If you can call it an attach 1.0 anymore. I added a carbon fiber seat post, XT derraillers, LX crankset, Deore shifter/brakes combos, Shimano disc front and rear Hubs w/ mavic disc rims, and Hayes Mechanical Disc brakes
Bottom Line:If you like to customize bikes, like most people do, this is a great frame to start out with. I love this bike now, I use to ride a GT LTS-5 had it for 8 years, so as you can see, I keep bikes for a long time.
