Strengths: Great Frame setup. Nice Ride for uphills and down. Can Take alot of abuse.HAs good parts when purchased the only thing it needs is a set of disk brakes.Weaknesses: Comes With very bad pedals, They will brake if you ride as hard as i do. Needs Disk BrakesBottom Line: For the price paid for the bike i believe that you get alot more then what you paid for. It is a great bike to ride in racing, Free riding and downhill.Get This Bike You Won't Regret IT.

Strengths: Good entry components- Deore shifters derailleurs. Rear shock has rebound control. Long stem. 27-speedWeaknesses: Handlebar too short 22 inches.
Pedal-refectors fell off after a week.
Bottom Line: So far so good been very pleased. Bought it during an after Thanksgiving sale last year 02. Price was $200 less than my 2 local shops were selling it for so I drove 70 miles to get it. I ride it to work and a few trails in my area. Mostly flat trails, no hills jumps, but have found a 3 foot drop that it has held up to well.
Im 6'2" 225 bought the 21"frame the long stem (4.5")helps out too but the handlebar was just too SHORT 22" replaced it with an Azonic double wall 2" rise thats 28" wide, much better.
Wheelies are easy to do.
The brakes stop me just fine. They are NOT Deore but ProMax. Ive gone over the front twice.
I Would like the fork (SR Suntour XCP-75) to have a bit more dampening.
The frame style I like very much I dont think I will push its limit with the riding I do.
The seat is actually ok too but the FS may have something to do with the better comfort I feel over the Trek 4300.
I feel this bike is for a beginner that doesnt really plan on jumping or needing the attributes a $1000+ bike has.
