Duration Product Used:6 months
Strengths:Quality components.
Weaknesses:Weight.
Bottom Line:I bought this bike in January of 2003 and have been riding it regularly on "intermediate" trails where rocks, roots, streams and climbs are a constant issue. I highly recommend this bike for the serious mountain biker. It's probably a bit too expensive for the occasional user. It has handled the pounding of the trail without any problems (other that a flat tire). The braking and shifting systems are awesome. The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes are working great and provide smooth dependable braking. The frame design can be difficult (not impossible) to load onto a rack. This bike has a great "feel" to it. It's a handsome bike too!
