MSRP : $899.00

Product Description

The 6o7 is our new improved 6" or 7” fork. It provides unmatched suspension performance for your Downhill/Free Ride Experience. External compression and rebound adjustments make tuning a breeze, and the over-designed construction ensures the ability to handle huge hits, and remain stiff even in the heat of battle!

Strengths:    This is a follow up reveiw. weight is no longer an issue on my fork.
I still love this fork and have recently tried others to save weight. Keep the stratos and upgrade seals, no biggie.

Weaknesses:    Now there are none.

Bottom Line:
I tried to lighten the bike up with different forks only to be dissapointed in them, I ran a boxxer team 03 boxxed and it bottomed with extra firm springs and heavier oil, tried a super t with extra firm springs and heavier oil and it bottomed. I tried to save 2lbs of weight and get my ride at 39 lbs. I did this but sacraficed alot along the way. I weigh 205lbs and like to fly ride and drop big. The Stratos now has s8 internals and amsoil synthetic in it and I have zero problems. I drop a 10' to flat to test my forks and my stratos is the only one I haven't bottomed or had issues with. I can slam a rock garden, hit a big hit or rail a corner and all is with absolute ease and reliability.
This is hands down the only fork that I feel confident with.

I put an avy dhs 275 shock on the rear to keep up with it and the 10' drop went from being easy to non existant.
#1 change internals to s8
#2 put the moto style seals on it
#3 put the new lower brake arch on it.
#4 have fun and don't question it.
After #3 is done #4 is the only thing left, this hands down is an awesome fork, the comp/reb actually works and makes a noticeable difference and is simple to adjust.

Strengths:    Extremely smooth handles my weight 210lbs, taken big drops no bottoming out. Handles whoops and rock gardens with unbeleivable control.

Weaknesses:    Customer service and dealing with them is a little trying, not enough for me not to use there product though.
If I had to walk a mile in S _ _ T, to get to the gold then i will.

Bottom Line:
User friendly, Most people are plug and play so a mass produced fork is for them with very little brain power entailed. The stratos is a fine tuned fork that requires you to set it up for you and not every other guy out there. You can set it up for you and if your friend rides the bike he is probably not going to like it and want to adjust it.
Overall it's for the seriuos dh/fr kind of guy not a kid thats gas and go.

Strengths:    craftsmanship, customer support, tuneability, estetics

Weaknesses:    none that I experienced

Bottom Line:
this is a follow up on my previous post. a full season of ridin' hard and I could not be happier with this fork.
after configuring the correct spring combos with Catherine (?) at Stratos, I was able to tune this bad boy properly.
I like the fact that the design is very user friendly. I had it apart and back together without any problems.
This fork is butter. After initial stiction, it's been as smooth throghout it's travel as some M inverted forks.
I hope I have as much fun with it this season as I did this past season. giving my 6o7 any less than 5 toasting chillis wouldn't be right. two thumbs up Stratos.

Strengths:    supper smooth right out of the box, I mean smoooth, craftsmanship, customer service @ Stratos is superb, this fork is beef, weight, turning radius, OK I'll stop now.

Weaknesses:    I've looked and looked at this thing and do not see anything I don't like about it.

Bottom Line:
I like it. The quality of this fork far surpasses all "similar products used". this is based strictly on my first impressions of this fork, except for cycling it for about 25min. I can only imagine how it is going to feel in action. I will re-post at the end of season.
