Strengths:    its a good bike, but heavy so i have to get extra jump in to the jumps and i have landed every jump on the bike. :)

Weaknesses:    well..... , my haro broke today and i broke my chin because of the bike and the handle bars fell off randomly even though i havent ever taken off the handle bars. so i wouldnt ever get another haro again

Bottom Line:
dodgy and can break

Strengths:    Great aerodinamics, nice control, rims

Weaknesses:    Bit heavy

Bottom Line:
Great bike, but i still would not sugest it to a total beginer cause it might happend that the bike would seem to heavy. I was really impressed when i saw how easy it is to grind with that bike...the control of it in the grind is amazing!!! I personaly think that this is the best bike you can get for that money...I know I am not going away from Haro anymore!

Strengths:    frame, crank, brakes..

Weaknesses:    heavy pegs. mediocre handlebars.

Bottom Line:
the last person that reviewed this bike must be an amateur/on crack cuz you do NOT buy a bike and expect the factory parts to be the best.. ive been riding bmx since i was 5 and im 28 now and id have to say this is an excellent bike. things i will be changing are the handle bars, pegs and pedals but other than that its a pretty sweet ride.. i come from the ol school bmxer time when everything was REALLY heavy and that made us better riders now..anyways i reccomend this bike highly, anything will break if you abuse it and BMX riding is all about abuse.thanks for reading..

Strengths:    frame strengh, tires, grips

Weaknesses:    WEIGHT, rims, bars are week, both alex's suck... DONT RIDE DOUBLE they bend. breaks are soo weak no stopping power, the hubs suck.... the axels snap if you grind with them. and the pegs snap off. the chain snaps even though it is really thick and the pedals have NO grip.

Bottom Line:
if this is going to be your first bike DONT BUY IT. its really crappy and heavy. this is a beginners bike. its really crappy and everything breaks. DO NOT DROP TO FLAT DO NOT DROP TO FLAT!!! it will break everything on your bike. try not to grind either. it will snap your axels. DO NOT BUY THIS BIKE

Date Reviewed: August 6, 2004

Strengths:    Smooth ride, solid feel, good brakes, solid pegs, 3 pc cranks. pretty sexy looking bike too

Weaknesses:    bit heavy for my girly arms, but then i've had all Alu frames until now. Mushy rear brake

Bottom Line:
Beautiful bike. Having ridden an Aluminium frame bike for so long its a bit tough getting used to the Chro-moly again but all in all i like it. It has a more hefty, soid feel than my previous bikes and looks like it'll stand up to a lot of abuse.

Bought a 2008 F4, with knackered headshoks

Hi, I've browsed this site in the past and recently, but having now purchased a 2nd hand F4, thought it was about time I joined. the F4 I purchased isn't perfect, it was cheap and had sat a while before I got my hands on it, everything works fine and smoothly, but it is definitely worth me putting ... Help a noob - Trek 4300 disc vs Cannondale F4 Euro model?

Avid Elixir 5 or Elixir 7 on Cannondale F4 hardtail?

I don't need the additional power but it squeals and it is very shameful when you hit the brakes and people think a 1965 F150 is about to run them over. F4 front brake problems.

Is there an online manual for the F4? I was riding today and my front brakes are locking up. I know they are hydraulic brakes so do they require fluid from time to time? Not sure what else could be going on. Also noticed there is a lot more play in the lever recently.Read More »
