Strengths: It really holds up. It's taken just about 8 years of abuse and it keeps on going. Feels like it's built well. Seems to be a medium weight bike, which is a better thing now that I'm older. Good bike on dirt of street.Weaknesses: As many others have said, the crank has issues. It's also very low to the ground, probably worth replacing if you ride a lot of street.Bottom Line: I got this bike when it first came out and have rode it every time I get the chance since then. It's been a wonderful bike and it takes a ton of abuse. Had to redo the barrings in the crank just recently, as they were pretty shot from all the dirt riding over the years. If you're younger/lighter weight this may not be the bike for you and may seem heavy. I'm 160 pounds and find it to be a pretty perfect weight. Overall it really feels like it just wants to be rode.

Strengths: the forsk ride nice and can take a beating. The slim bars are lite and have a nice feel. frame is awsome and suits a heavy rider like me.Weaknesses: the crank bolts come off, cranks make noises, the seat rips way to fast, and the rims are durable but weight alotBottom Line: its an awsome bike. it the best one ive used. the frame is heavy but not real heavy, if you buy a haro X4 get new rims cause they are heavy, and purchase new 3 piece cranks also. people that are heavier should try the bike cause it can support the wieght of a heavy rider, and aggressive riders cause this bike can take a beating. people who are lighter shouldnt ride because the bike might be to heavy for you. i love my haro ive put at least $300 into it its now worth the 5 times as much as i paid for it.

Strengths: High duribilityWeaknesses: weightBottom Line: good bike for a random rider that has a lot of strength. A bit too heavy for distance or air jumping for me. I like the weight for wheelies and manuels. i tried it on my friends mongoose outer limit and flipped. overall, its a good bike, a little expensive, but it can take a lot of damage.

Strengths: everything ive beaten the living hell out of this thing and it kept going the frame and fork are indestructable i put nyquist signerture bars n it but stock slim bars were great
once i came of a dropp and landed on a rock with the crank arm! i thought for sure it was trashed but it was fine remember this bike was desinghed so that nyquist himself couldnt break it
Weaknesses: yeah the crank popped a little so what nothing a set of $20.00 sealed bearings didnt fixBottom Line: great bike nearly indestructable only what you expect from haro

Strengths: The X4 is great for trails & dirt jumps. I recomend this bike to people that have been riding dirt for sometime frame is great & sturdy come with great parts like the oddesy modulator & tripple wall rims.Weaknesses: The crank makes all types of sounds and the bike is heavyBottom Line: The bike is a great product if you can get pass the sounds of the crank and weight. But over all any body will be pleased.

Strengths: The Haro Backtrial X4 has many great strengths. The X4 has the best forks, great crank, light front end.
Weaknesses: The Haro Backtrial X4 has only 1 weakness, the weight.Bottom Line: The bottom line is the X4 is a great bike to have. Just one bad thing it is heavy for most people.

Strengths: Stout!Weaknesses: Heavy!Bottom Line: The cranks creak already. Other than that, it feels so solid. I've been bashing curbs 'cause I can't bunny hop it, and it'll roll right over 'em with less fuss than a 26" tire. I'm pretty sure it weighs more than my mountain bike and my 'cross bike combined. I got it to learn to jump gaps, I only have ridden 26" xc and freeride bikes (or roadbikes) so I don't have much to compare to.

Strengths: Frame & Forks are verry strong and designed for a larger rider as well as a medium one, I have the nyquist sig. bars and there verry solid but flexable enought not to jar ya when you land , the wheels that come on this bike are great!!! alex tripple wall's . The geometry of the bike is excelent for a rider of 5'10 5'11 , I myself weigh in at 265 lb's and feel confedent on this frame & fork !!Weaknesses: The Cranks (fusion) 3pc were popping after about 3 wks , the weight of the bike , it weighs atound 7 lbs frame alone , not too bad, butth e complete bike in a whole is realy heavy!! and the seat practicaly decentergrated in a matter of wks, just not to tuff!Bottom Line: If your an older rider or of a larger size this bike may suit you fine and will hold up under preasure , but might take some gettn used to!!
