a Weekend Warrior
from York, Maine, USA Date Reviewed: April 27, 2003 | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Price Paid: |
$550.00 | | Purchased At: | The Bike Barn in Manchester NH | | Strengths: | Number one strength is the price... You get a deore rear derailer. 24 speed. 3 water bottle brazons, quick release tires f&r. When we bought the bike we got it into our windstar. no need for a tandem roof rack(big $$$). | | Weaknesses: | This is a weekend warrior bike. I would not trust it off trail. But for family juants it is the best. | | Similar Products Used: | I tested the Diamondback westwood? It is almot the same bike. 1 less brazon... bike frame is less "cool" then the Raleigh | | Bottom Line: | I am a big biker, I ride 20~40 miles a week, but this is the only way to get my wife on a bike. We went for a 30 mile road ride today, some inclines, bike shifted well, easy to handle. All and all a great bike | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
