Duration Product Used:6 months
Price Paid: $7500.00
Purchased At:@ Superior tandems (My shop)
Strengths:Of the many MB tandems we've ridden the Symbiosis(20O4 model) has the best ride, stand over clearance and gearing setup we've ever tested. Its suspension has no pogo effect for all off-road riding conditions. Its independent coast system (ICS) is invaluable for maneuvering narrow technical trails. Our frame was made with Easton 7005 and equipped with a 30 inch rear top tube for taller stokers (rear rider).
Weaknesses:Cost may prohibit some riders from ever trying off-road riding on a full suspension tandem. However the Symbiosis' cost is comparable to other upper level MB tandems.
Similar Products Used:Santana, Burley, Cannondale, Ventana
Bike Setup:Largly stock. May be seen at

Bottom Line:This bike ROCKS on the most technical, rock strewn trails you can find! For reasons not understood by us Da Vinci's mountain bike tandems are grossly underrated. This machine will take you down or up any trail you ever dreamed of riding, while being with your favorite riding partner. This bike is made for seriously rough and technical off-road trails. We've had a BLAST this summer while learning to ride this beast. Don’t wait as long as we did to test ride a fabulously fun off road tandem!
