Strengths:    classic ultra-stiff Cannodale Aluminum frame, a real boon to any double-troule application like tandems. Magura Gustav M brakes are grand massive stopping power! pipe billet Shimano Ultegra Triple-Crank splined bottom brackets
(68x118.5?) makes for great efficiency pedaling -stands like a dream come true- also comes with really cool Syntace VRO adjustable downhill ahead-stem - a lot less flex than stock stems < much to even my own surprise - great for heterosexual tandem couples wanting to switch from rear admiral to el capitan - its moves about 50mm

Weaknesses:    Doesn't come with a front suspension fork? Rear cranks are also 175mm vs. 170mm on my M/S frame? but this might be OK for Mtn biking - more torque from the stoker!

Bottom Line:
Stiff like it should be, most likely < 40lbs with the RockShox Psylo fork, I have the 20mm downhill Tulio axle option for added stiffness/predictable steering.
Comes with Conti Navigators < great tires! and a decent rear suspension seatpost/seat. Great brakes, and a not so
wild palatable color yellow with orange accents. With the 700c wheels on, we can easily hang with $6,000.00 Co-Motion roadie tandems, only we can predictably stop - and the U-Turn fork setup's great for shutting down the fork for smooth trails/roads - no regrets other than I should have purchased this bike sooner - shifts very well. Fits in a Honda CR-V & SAAB Aero/9000 with both wheels off!

Favorite Trail:   Kickapoo State Park

Duration Product Used:   3 months

Price Paid:    $3500.00

Purchased At:   BikeSource

Similar Products Used:   earlier edition MT3000 with Triple-Clamp fork, 10yrs on a TREK T200 steel tandem

Bike Setup:   I had BikeSource install the RockShox Psylo 85-135mm suspension fork - with U-Turn, they also built me a 2nd set of 700c wheels on the same Hugi/TD tandem disc hubs for the bi-polar riding experience of a lifetime - best of both worlds! Thanks Hans & Brian!
