Strengths:    Phenomenal kid's bike. Aluminum frameset with a replaceble deraileur hanger! Ahead 1 1/8 with an adjustible stem. Full shimano. A great kids bike. Quick relaese front hub. It is quite possibly the best kids mountain bike on the market, bar none. We looked at Giant, Specialized and Trek. And unless you wish to drop over $600 with Specialized you will not find a better kids bike.

Weaknesses:    NONE. All Kid bikes under $340 are going to have the same grouppo, so why pay extra. A Target bike will not have intergral a derailuer hanger on it, let alone a replaceable one. And where do kids drop bikes? On the deraileur, of course. I will say this, the specialized has a better paint scheme.

Bottom Line:
All the features of a adult mid-range bike in a kid package. It also would be great for an short statured adult who doesn't want to pony up the bucks for a custom or Terry. It's that good.

Duration Product Used:   3 months

Price Paid:    $170.00

Purchased At:   Sportmart

Similar Products Used:   Giant, Specialized, Look, Tomac. Hard-core road guy who has kids and plays off riding with them.

Bike Setup:   Stock. I put an old 1999 XTR rear deraileur on the for coolness factor, but it doesn't add performance. It'a a kid bike after all.
