from england Date Reviewed: September 21, 2010 Strengths: Bought the 17.5” version in 1999 for my birthday. Used initially for days out on the moors. Now is used for brilliant long distance road/off-road expeditions. Bomb proof, it’s done 5 thousand plus miles a year for 10 yrs. Been through umpteen wheels, chainsets, chains etc. it’s a women’s specific bike but I changed the stem for a longer one, stuck some ridged forks on and semi slicks. Its an all day honey! The ally frame dumb’s down a lot of trail chatter. Panaracer semi slick tyres. It’s my road and long distance recon bike.
