Date Reviewed: August 14, 2003

Strengths:    Awesome frame, takes anything. Moves in the air like its a bmx. sweet cranks. downhills pretty well too

Weaknesses:    bars are dodgy, f.u.n.n levers are cheap, axiom bmx seat isn't too flash. bit heavy. didn't really like the 24/24 wheel combo. 26/24 or 26/26 would be sweet. hydro's would be good. snapped the pedal axles. needs more travel

Bottom Line:
sweet bike. buy frame only or change a few parts and you will not regret the purchase. handle anything except uphill

Date Reviewed: May 8, 2003

Strengths:    Great geometry, strength, BMX bottom bracket. Nimble handling. BMXer influenced design, begs to be jumped.

Weaknesses:    Hayes front mech brake, three inch fork.

Bottom Line:
This is a killer bike, after you switch a few parts. The three-inch fork makes the front IMPOSSIBLE to get up, so I swapped for a 4, along with taller Easton bars. Be aware that the cranks are 170mm, not 175mm. The way I have it set up is great. It is so nimble and yet stable. 360s, no problem. Point the front wheel and the a$s follows. I am an old-scholl bmxer and the suspension allows me to jump again without failed wrists. As burley as this bike is, it is very forgiving. 4130 FOREVER!!!

Submitted by Jimmy Kirkpatrick a Cross Country Rider from Alice Springs, Northern Territory, Australia

Date Reviewed: December 12, 2002

Strengths:    Forks are strong, rims are okay, frame is a tank, cranks are really strong.

Weaknesses:    Forks are strong but soft, hill climbing sux because it only has one front cog, it's basically a big B.M.X. with shocks and gears.

Bottom Line:
I ordered it so i didn't ride it until i bought it the bike dealer said that it was like a hotdog which i wanted but it wasn't. it's great for jumping a little heavy for me i'm 5'3 48kg but a pretty good bike sh#$ for climbing hills great going down. Wasn't what i wanted but that what happens if you listen to the poxy bike dealer.

Date Reviewed: July 17, 2002

Strengths:    frame
cranks
and good choice of componenets

Weaknesses:    fork is too squishy and front brake just wont grip. umm too many gears. i'm saving up for a planet X ss disc hub. get rid of the rear v-brake.

Bottom Line:
yeah its a good bike a little on the heavy side but what the hell its bombproof. good for street&dirt jumping and riding through trails to see what you can jump off of or look for lines steep enough you ride down on. but thats it, limited, but a super fun bike. lates.
