a Downhiller
from Victoria , B.C. ,Canada Date Reviewed: June 11, 2002 | | Favorite Trail: | Downhill in Whistler | | Duration Product Used: | 2 Years | | Price Paid: |
$350.00 | | Purchased At: | whistler mtb | | Strengths: | Lasts long for a great price. Great for upgrading. Can be used anywhere. | | Weaknesses: | I've had it for about 2 years and there's been no major weaknesses however because it is old it will need a new headset and stem if you upgrade the fork and no disk brake mounts on the back. | | Similar Products Used: | none | | Bike Setup: | Rock Shox Boxxer , hope minis on front avid pulls on back shimano xtr stuff , Rock Shox suspension seat post , maxxis tires , nice spinergy rims. | | Bottom Line: | Great frame craving upgrading for a nice buy. If you're in need of a bike that will last this is it. And by the way I couldn't afford a good downhill rig but if you can buy it but if you can't a cheap bike souped up nice will do. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
