$300.00 | | Purchased At: | tredmill | | Strengths: | freaken beefy , takes anything i give it, cheep | | Weaknesses: | none | | Bike Setup: | avid front mech. rhino lite, psylo xc, some other stuff | | Bottom Line: | great for freeriding i"ve taken her off 7 footers to flat landings, great in the jumps and burms, a great dual slalom bike . its a better deal to just buy the frame and put suspention on it and pimp i out , great bike~ | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$100.00 | | Purchased At: | dark alley | | Strengths: | steel, simple, seems pretty burly, stable when hucking the loonies, hot little honey on the seattube | | Weaknesses: | not exactly pretty welds, but $100 won't buy a Merlin | | Similar Products Used: | k2 flyin monkey, gt avalanche, oldskool rocky mtn DH - all cracked or broken. Maybe this one will last more than half a season | | Bike Setup: | ridiculous and somewhat offensive | | Bottom Line: | I just cracked my k2 so I needed a cheap and solid frame in a hurry. i ordered this up and so far my impressions are good. The welds could be a little smoother, but there is nothing too bad. For 100 bucks you can't complain. Haven't spent much time on her yet, but she will certainly receive plenty of violent abuse. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
