Date Reviewed: July 28, 2003
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Strengths:Made in Canada
Weaknesses:None yet
Similar Products Used:a few low end hardtails and one low end full suspension
Bike Setup:Stock
Bottom Line:Great bike I have hit a few 3 foot drops and it lands smoother then the full suspension I had. It has a long seatpost as well so you just crank it up and you can ride trail as well.

Submitted by Corey a from Toronto
Date Reviewed: March 19, 2003
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $450.00
Strengths:Chain stays and down tube...you know why.
Weaknesses:Bought frame only, couldn't fit my Avid mech in the back. Meh, hayes mech works just as well.
Similar Products Used:Giant XCX (fully, really no comparison)
Bike Setup:z1 wedge, race face prodigy, d321, avid mech/hayes mech, hutchinson jumbo.
Bottom Line:I was riding a fully XC bike, so switching to the Hucker has been great. Handles incredibly well, very quick and nimble even with all the weight (mine checks in at 34 lbs).
The long top tube is great for taller riders, I'm 6'3 and have a medium size frame with a longish stem, and it is perfect. Great for urban rides, and with a long seat post it seems to work well for trail riding. All in all I'm very happy to have bought this bike, the sheer beefiness of it gives me a bit more confidence and is pushing me to just give'r. I'm given it a Pad Thai with 5 flames rating. Buy now...support canadian made.

Favorite Trail:Jumping
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $1725.00
Purchased At:cyclepath
Strengths:Bombproof frame, great component set up so there isnt much upgrades
Weaknesses:fork is a little bit to soft but other then that great bike
Bike Setup:stock: deore XT rear derailer, sram 3.0 front, hayes HMX cable disc brakes.
Bottom Line:This bike is great for everything, i use it for xc racing with my school, urban assault rides in the city, jumping. Anything you can throw at it. The frame is bombproof and i dont think that i am ever going to have to replace it anytime soon. I would recomend this for someone who does jumping and trials but also wants to do xc riding. Overall its a great bang for the buck.

Date Reviewed: December 18, 2001
Favorite Trail:Air Supply (on the shore)
Duration Product Used:3 months
Price Paid: $1000.00
Strengths:Strong frame
Weaknesses:components
Similar Products Used:stiffee SL, devinci FR frame
Bike Setup:hucker frame, hayes, 2000 Z1 CR, Single-wide, truvativ, high-roller
Bottom Line:Frame is awesome, I would just buy the frame by itself (the frame is Phatt Epecial Edition) kause the components arent too good if you ride hard. For an enrty level, this is the best. Cheap too
