Strengths:    Great handling frame and components

Weaknesses:    Stock tires

Bottom Line:
1 year review: After throwing everything my 220lb body could could at this bike, not caring what I broke for an entire season, I can say this bike rocks. It has taken everything I have thrown at it and asked for more. At 5'10", this size medium bike fits me perfect. I ride mostly single track, and wanted a bike to hold up to my size and this is the bike. New tires made it an unstopable force. I absolutly love the bike.

Strengths:    Handles single track like its on rails even with the crappy stock tires, suspension eats bumps like they are not there, feels muck lighter then it actually is.

Weaknesses:    Could climb a little better, but for a full suspension freeride oriented bike it isnt bad.

Bottom Line:
Been riding hardtails for many years and this is my first full suspension bike. I cant see myself ever going back to a hardtail bike. While my buddys are standing getting beat by the roots and rocks on their hardtails, im still sitting just hammering through the trails faster then I ever have before. The bike has no doubt made me faster through the trails. I weigh 230 and bought a freeride oriented bike as my primary cross country bike. I could not be happier with it.

Strengths:    Increadible versitility and control. Great for climbing and desending. she loves the big bumps and jumps. light and supprisingly agile. great geometry and plenty of room in the cockpit. Really shines on twisted, rocky downhills. even does well in slow and technical stuff.

Weaknesses:    The Fox RL is handy with its lockout, but just isnt beefy enough for this bike. I have sent mine back to the factory twice with blown seals since i got it.

Bottom Line:
Perfect for the skitzo biker who likes cross country and light free rideing, but can only afford one bike. Definantly the most versitle bike i have ever ridden. 2003 model looks even better. But i think the rear shock needs to be uprgraded before it can be considered a full on free-ride bike.

Strengths:    stable and predictable. you donn't have to be "at speed" to feel it.

Weaknesses:    ...um, well. With Bradbury's and Tomac's name on the bike? OK the spokes loosened up quite a bit after a few rides.

Bottom Line:
If you gotta pedal up before you go down, this will do it. I pedaled the bike from downtown Moab up to the top of Porcupine Rim and then the bike rewarded me quite generously on the way down. I have ridden this bike successfully in the Leadville Silver Rush (about 45 miles). You will not outgrow this bike unless you plan on winning some dh races. Very good parts selection that works well together.

Strengths:    If you want a downhill worthy rig that you can pedal up, this is the ride. Great components for the $$

Weaknesses:    Bars and stem are heavy throwing balance off a little. Wheels needed to be checked often at first for loose spokes, after they seated no problems.

Bottom Line:
This bike rocks. Opted for Pyslo instead of Black elite. Changed bars and stem for weight. IRC Backcountry tires that came on bike are worthless, like slicks. Have ridden this bike all over NE and trip to Moab, cant say how well it works. Goes over everything FAST. Did 24 hours at Great glen. Not bad as CC racer, could still drop some weight from it if I tried, but dont feel the need. Check out 2003 paint, very baaaaad !
