Favorite Trail:Ravenshoe
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $500.00
Purchased At:Spoke o'
Strengths:Stem, headset,The frame rocks all the way. Also this bike is a good bang for the buck. Has survived for one year with a bit of freeriding, lots of xc racing, and some urban riding. Good job Norco.
Weaknesses:Handelbars bend easy, Rims bend kind of easily, fork bottoms out pretty easily. This bike has a lot of basic parts, but its been a strong bike for me all around.
Similar Products Used:None really
Bike Setup:Axiom double jump pedals, kool stop brake pads, and Race Face grips.
Bottom Line:This bike is a good price, and has lasted me for one year now. If you're just beginning mountain biking ( bit of xc, bit of freeride, etc.) I would reccomend this bike. It's a good starter, for not that high of a cost. I like it, and would reccomend a norco sidewinder if someone were buying a low cost full suspension bike.

Favorite Trail:da pit
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $450.00
Purchased At:TNT Bicycles
Strengths:frame is wicked and the stem is da bomb.
Weaknesses:Forks despartly need upgrading, handle bars blow, seat post is weak, tires wear easy and drailers are junk.
Similar Products Used:department store dualies.
Bike Setup:axiom riser bars, new seat, dh shocks, bigger front tire and new seat post.
Bottom Line:Good bike 4 the money but really cant handle any jumps/drops. Good 4 xc riders but not good 4 any dirt jumping unless you fully upgrade it which would kinda make it a norco 4 x 4.

Strengths:nothing really maybe the frame the rest is junk.
Weaknesses:everything basically. the front fork is junk, the rims warp quicker than any bike ive ever seen, and the handlebars are weak, also the pedals aren't grippy and the cassettes aren't too great. Basically the bike is really junky.
Bottom Line:This bike is not dependable at all. Ask my friend who owns the bike.

Date Reviewed: June 8, 2002
Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $400.00
Strengths:Excellent Braking, the first time I used them I fell off because they're so responsive. Gear shifting is extremely quick and easy. Excellent suspension front and back, absorbs most big bumps.
Weaknesses:No Easy off back tire, and no where to mount a U-lock bike lock.
Bottom Line:Excellent bike for getting into mountain biking, very secure and great for whatever trails are close by. For the price you should review if you actually need a full suspension bike. Acording to local bike store it's the bike of the year and Norco is fresh out for the season so try to get one at your local bike store before they're all gone.

Duration Product Used:Less than 1 month
Price Paid: $459.00
Purchased At:kunstadt sports
Strengths:I just bought this bike and it is a pretty intense bike. Great suspension makes it feel like riding on air! I did a 4 foot free zone drop on it and landed it so comfortably.I wouldn't recommend this bike for the road too much but it's the purchasers choice. I ride the road, but i don't get a lot of speed because the shocks bounce and slow you down. But on the upside, it's got amazing gear shifting and provides a comfortable ride that will still be there in the long run.
Weaknesses:Slow on the road
Bike Setup:front-back shocks, ez fire gears (shimano), light frame
Bottom Line:Simple good quality product.
