from Brooklyn, NY usa Date Reviewed: September 12, 2002 | | Favorite Trail: | pine barrens, long island, ny | | Duration Product Used: | 1 Year | | Strengths: | simple and lite, fairly stiff laterally | | Weaknesses: | Rear trianlgle broke quickly, rear end doesn't lock out and really barely adjusts | | Similar Products Used: | Jamis dually ('95) had a lot more flex when turning but the 4 pivot desing was nicer on the bumps. | | Bike Setup: | changed rear shock to sid--gives it close to lockout. | | Bottom Line: | everyone i heard of broke the rear end. don't these guys product test? i'm old and don't ride that hard for a dually. Really skeptical for anyone who hammers--at least it broke in the rear and not the front (and i could still limp out). Single pivot seems to bob a lot, especially when hammerring. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
