Bottom Line:
Buy this if you want a strong, stiff frame that you can depend on, but doesnt cost the earth. They also do complete bike builds with Boxxer Race, and otherwise pretty much the same setup as above.

Strengths:
lots of strength in the structure in the frame, has absolutely no flex, very plush ride, smooth cornering coz it's center of gravity is a bit lower than most downhill rigs, absolutely love it
Weaknesses:
bb a little bit low but you get the better cornering with that so I don't really care that much about it.

well i went in to the shop and asked for a bike that could ride me round on the foot path and the guy said this one would be a comfy ride so it abealed to me so i baught it and rode home i am only 11 and my dady is richy so he said i could av it and can ride to school. I got ripped off cos i am only a street burner and this takes all the funn of going down to the shop for a ice cream! my dady said i could trade it in for my own computer ha im lafing.

Strengths:
The new 208 frame is really beefy, with gussets everywhere. The new chainstays are massive and they is no flex in the rear end at all. It pedals with very little bob and uses bearings in all pivots so you don't have to repack bushings with grease. The angles are perfect, but the bike seem long and slack compared to other downhill rigs. The back endd and angles have a lot of adjustment, with different linkage holes for head angle, bottom bracket height and progressiveness of the shock.
Weaknesses:
The paint is a little thin and the top tube has lost the shine from my leg rubbing against it, but it's a bike, it's gonna get scratched anyway.

Bottom Line:
The 208 has improved drastically over the older craftworks downhill frames and has gussets everywhere. It's sweet for downhill with the angles being spot on. It not too heavy either and it's cheap at $1300US frame only.

Everything the frame has improved so much over the years and the extra beefy chainstay topped it off it has almost no flex and the angles are all perfect for racing. people think pff craftworks and look at intenses and think there tops but they are virtually the same and alot stronger

stickers look a bit cheap and the paint

The frame is an absolute work of art!!! The mix of kit hanging of the frame speaks for itself. Big hits are taken as if not there, and it even climbs nicely.
If your after a GREAT bike to handle a mix of bit hits, the occasional climb, and whatever else you want to throw at it, for the right amount of $$$ then look no further. I defy anyone to find better in this price range.
