from McKeesport PA, USA Date Reviewed: November 17, 2003 | | Favorite Trail: | Bushwacker (Local) | | Duration Product Used: | 2 Years | | Price Paid: |
$250.00 | | Purchased At: | Danscomp.com | | Strengths: | The bike is a nice concept of strength and beauty. The "raw" finish that Eastern offers is a very nice quality to have to look different from all the other riders. Smooth ride and pedal. You'll like it. | | Weaknesses: | The only weakness of the bike is that if you ride hard on the wheels, the innertubes puncture often cause the spokes dislocate from the holes they are aligned to. It would be nice to look into modifying the wheels. | | Similar Products Used: | Haro Backtrail x3, Specialized Fat-Boy | | Bike Setup: | The Eastern Ace of Spades frame geometry is used. Stock features: 1/8" chain, 14mm rear axle, 3/8 front, Oryg 1 1'8" gyro, Eastern Jumpseat, 44T sprocket (chainwheel), 16T freewheel, Well-go platform pedals, NO FRONT BRAKE. | | Bottom Line: | Very good bike for the lower price of the Ace of Spades. Look for updating the wheels after riding hard. Extremely smooth ride from riding hard to just cruisin'. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
